Do the roots run really deep?

Half of the conference wants out.

There are no roots left. The ACC was a basketball conference. They expanded for football. But then Miami and VT fell off a cliff so it didn't become the football powerhouse they planned. Now they're just in a desperate fight for survival.

The ACC is kinda different and the roots run really deep.  But adding teams this far away is not a good thing.  I really hope it doesn’t happen.

There won't be any conferences pretty soon. These travel schedules are insane. Imagine taking a flight across country just to play California. Like what happened to real college rivals.

It's all a big money grab now.

Fair points, one reason why the ACC has been middle of the ground in FB is because VT, Miami have not held up their ends of the bargain since joining and frankly FSU hasn’t been great since their 2014 national championship they won with the likes of a sexual predator.
