As someone who has questioned Moore's arm strength...

He showed me all I needed to see on that first 27 yard post route to muhammed. He stepped into that throw and drilled it and it's the first throw of its kind I've seen him throw. He seems to have solved his fluttering problem.

Moore now has the Jase seal of approval.

Love,

Jase

He looked great, I don't think he had any throws where I put my face in my palm. He completed the easy throws and some more difficult throws. He hasn't done anything outright amazing yet but he looks more than solid.

Another game like this and we'll have ourselves a legitimate option at QB. I still think competition should be brought in but moore should be given the job as his to loose at the start of the season.

yeah that pass to moose was great. answered the zip question right there. i want to jump on the start him next year wagon, but how d anderson played out is not unlike matt. i am not sold to give him the job without question. oh and delhomme and mccown dont count as comp.

I mentioned the same thing in another thread. He didn't sail anything, had nice velocity on his throws, and was accurate. Loved his game today and made me rethink my opinion of him.

It's awesome that his worst throw was a TD anyways (toss to King).

yea moore made great throws and i was really impressed with him. none of his throws looked like they were horrible. An interesting question i have is if McCoy had anything to do with matts recent success. A theory i have is he taught moore to better himself and moore has recently caught a better grip of things like footwork or trustin arm strength.

Moore has the same arm he has always had as far as I know so not sure why it took this long to figure out his arm isn't weak.

Unless of course he had cybernetics implanted in his arm this last week.

Moore just tries to put too much touch on the ball. Never meant his arm was weak. Plus it's expected that he get better with more reps with the first team.(crazy I know)

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
