The Biggest Probowl Snub?

I know Jon Beason probably should have made the pro bowl and up until Thomas Davis got hurt he was definitely playing on that level. Heck, even Gamble deserves some consideration...but the biggest pro bowl snub of the season for the Panthers has to be Ryan Kalil. I voted for the center from Dallas and Kalil everytime that I voted and I can't believe he didn't make it as a backup at least. He has been the rock of a line that has been through some big time injuries this season, a line that has had to very inexperienced starters over the last few weeks, and let's also add that this is a line that boasts TWO 1000 yard rushers for crying out loud!!! To me you have to let someone off a line that accomplishes that to the probowl...I would even say Wharton deserves a shot because he has played two positions on a line that has been so dominant in the run game this year. It amazes me that people talk so highly about the Panthers and our run game yet no one off the offensive line made the pro bowl. Maybe he or Travelle are an alternate but I haven't seen that list yet.

That to me Ryan Kalil not making it was our biggest probowl snub this year...right up there with DeAngelo not making it a year ago. Any thoughts?

Kalil is one of our most unheralded player and a steal in the draft. Otah is really close behind him in terms or being a top player at his position. He definitely deserves to be in Hawaii.

Hurney and the Scouting dept are responsible for some serious misses: D Jarrett, K Colbert, Corvey Irvin(you know he will suck!), Eric Shelton, Evan Mathis and Atiyyah Ellison but get wayy too much blame as all organizations miss at the same level or higher...look at the Pats last few drafts!

Hurney and staff has some great hits they get little credit for: trading down twice to avoid overpaying for a Free Safety and getting Jon Beason, Ryan Kalil, Jonathan Sterwart, Jeff Otah, and I feel like Everett Brown will be great although I would trade him for Terrance Cody in this draft in a minute).

The last three drafts I think have been huge wins...with possible reservations for Goodson (why draft him so high when we have other needs to address at the time??)

Geoff Schwartz, Mackenzy Bernadeau, Duke Robinson, Fiametta, Capin, Charles Johnson, and Sherrod Martin look like they will be on the right path to be possibe starters or high level back-ups.

so yes, I like Kalil....in other words.
