Refusing to play for a specific team that holds the #1 pick for certain reasons is different than halfway through your junior year of school having an apparent list of 5 teams that you'd play for, and think I saw the 49ers and Dolphins were on the list, which is just crazy to think there is any chance he could end up on either team.

The only differences are: college players stayed for 4 years; there was no NIL or transfer portal. 

Those 3 things alone are basically allowing college players like Williams get a jump start on doing the same thing those other guys did.

I was fine with taking our shot. Very rarely do you have #1 overall type QBs available with the #1 pick being available for trade. I get making the bold move. It just doesn't look like Bryce has NFL caliber physical talent.

      I mean in this economy, companies have to be smarter with their spending. Sending reporters to Charlotte to cover a moribund, Pop Warner-level franchise is the ultimate waste of money that should get execs fired. If the media were being kept out, they'd report that--it's the most self-important profession in the world. Even for the locals who know "Panthers suck yet again" stories get them no clicks. Bottom line, no conspiracy here. They're just not worth covering.
