But we aren't talking about everybody, we are talking specifically about bryce and him choosing not to participate with the questions marks already attached to him.

Yeah most others are injured or had nothing to prove. He didn't wanna have 50mph velocity beside CJ's 60, plus the deep balls

But he threw at the pro day… After CJ’s which the same staff was there. You’re looking too much into comparing. They saw the arm strength in person. What did bama have fans going to help Bryce? They saw Bryce CJ and Richardson throw pre draft.

I don't want to throw a pity party for Bryce Young.  If you are poised for being the number 1 pick it comes with a lot of this unfortunately.  I'm more inclined to have greater sympathy for guys like Zavala who are thrown into roles they are clearly not ready for.  I think BY is a step above but still makes mistakes so to me the verdict is still out regarding his ability.

One thing that I do hate for BY is that we have done nothing to assist him or help him grow.  Receivers suck, play calling sucks, protection sucks and coaching sucks.  If BY has this great processor, then it takes about 0.2 seconds after each snap to realize he is fugged.

If his parents were killed in a plane crash, or he gets some deadly fatal disease, he has my total sympathy.

He sucks in the NFL because  he can’t hang with the physicality and pressure? Or a different reason, whatever. Screw sympathy for poor little Bryce Young number one pick smartest draft pick of all time. Zero .
Nor will I have any for people who celebrated the colossal mistake that he looks to be.

    • not sure if any of this is news, but a good summary of our situation heading into training camp.  It's sure gonna be good getting Derrick back. After missing virtually all of the 2024 season, Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown is aiming for a full return to the field during training camp later this summer, per Joseph Person of The Athletic. Brown tore his meniscus in Week 1 and underwent season-ending surgery that has kept him limited through spring practices, though he did participate in “walk-throughs and light side work” during mandatory minicamp, according to Person. Brown originally stated a desire to be ready for the 2025 regular season, but his timeline appears to have moved up. Brown’s injury was particularly disappointing after a career-best 2023 season. He led all defensive linemen with 103 total tackles and was named to his first Pro Bowl, earning him a four-year, $96MM extension from the Panthers in April 2024. While he has never been a prolific pass rusher, Brown’s size and power has consistently commanded double-teams and created opportunities for his teammates. His impact was evident last season, as Carolina’s run defense ranked dead-last in his absence. The Panthers spent significant resources this offseason on defensive line depth, which should allow them to manage Brown’s usage more carefully coming off a major injury. He played a whopping 940 defensive snaps in 2023 (89% of the team’s total) and was on the field for almost every play before his injury last year. With new teammates Tershawn Wharton, Bobby Brown III, and Cam Jackson ready to share the load, Derrick Brown can take a lower snap share to stay fresh and healthy for the entire season. • Yeah it's kind of like they don't want him on the team anymore for some reason
