Week 6 NFL

Chargers are the most underperforming team in the nfl. At the same time Herbert is not HIM!! He's got talent but he just keeps making crucial mistakes at the most critical times. There is a reason they haven't won any meaningful games and only made it to the playoffs last year but still got trounced by the Jags. Panthers are 0-6 but thats because we suck, Chargers shouldn't be 2-3

Think about where the Panthers could be if we had Herbert and Micah Parsons instead of bum ass Jaycee Horn

Herbert is nothing special. Great arm talent, but he's not someone I would trust come playoffs.

It's amazing how people continue to put him in the same conversation with Burrow/Allen/Mahomes

The Chargers and underperforming kinda go hand in hand. But yeah, Herbert is starting to show why the Oregon coaches didn't trust him. One of my big hangups with him as a prospect was that in the clutch they took the ball out of his hands. They were a running team almost exclusively when the chips were down. It always made me go hmmm... what do they know that we don't?

I'm on record of hating Herbert as a prospect based on how he was used at Oregon. Those coaches did not trust him.

Meanwhile, the "interception machine" has 6 TDs to 1 INT over the past 3 games. 😂

Yeah, Howell is looking better for sure.

The difference is that I am not a blind college homer.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
