Yes its all doom and gloom and missing out on generational talents like Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison(baby randy moss)jr sucks. But only the back end this is a very good Draft class. 2 guys who could be there in the second round at the top i really like or if we trade up at the end of the first.

I haven't gotten to look at everyone but I always start with my favorite team  Florida State. and Man we got 2 good ones Which is rare at FSU. Keon Coleman a tranfer from Michigan State has been unreal. 3 touchdown catches  day 1 in first game Vs sec power LSU..

guy is 6'4 and Is great after the catch to the point he returns punts which is rare for wr. I mean this was last week this guy is ridiculous might not be there in the second round.

On the other end.. I know this is going to scare panthers fans but think Kelvin Benjamin but faster.   Johnny Wilson is Batman or robin to coleman.  At 6'7 hes taller than Benjamin and doesnt seem to lack speed.

Wilson needs to work on consistency but his talent isnt to be underestimated. These 2 guys basically take turns mossing smaller DBs... Want to know why FSU is undefeated? these 2 guys(and qb travis)

While I hate not having a first the future is bright...

I'm pretty sure he is Marvin Harrison Jr

I don't care about this mythical "true #1" but I honestly don't think you can name 32 better NFL WRs than Tee Higgins.

Maybe you're right, but a rookie receiver may end up being better than Tee Higgins, and we already know that they're going to be more economical.

I think the chances we don't end up picking in the 1st round are about 0%.

If we don't get a 1st for trading Burns in the next couple weeks then we'll almost certainly trade up into the 1st round.

I think that you're right.

Psst: it's a relatively deep QB class too. Just saying.

I think we need to talk 2nd round defensive prospects -  we can't keep neglecting that side of the ball.

Thats our problem now why the offense is behind the defense. You have used so many first and seconds on brown horn shaq burns Gross matos Henderson was a first chinn. look at offense...

Yep. I think it's likely given how obvious of a need any sort of playmaker on offense is.

I'm firmly in the Odunze & Franklin trains.  It's a stacked class and even with some defensive gaps.  Seems likre it would be a disservice to go an offseason just plugging in more FA pickups and mid-rounders to support Bryce.  If we want to see what he is made of, get playmakers & sign better depth for this OL.

Exactly. Throwing good money after bad. At least see what Mingo does year two. First pick needs to be a cb.

Mingo looks like a i dunno a meh player.maybe a number 2. But clearly you aren't reading the tea leaves with the team already was rumored to want to trade for a number 1 wr at the trade deadline so their logic is there is a problem at wr as well. You guys see these wrs cant seperate and are like oh draft a corner it will workout.

After drafting Boyd who has been just aight and then Ross who busted, it's not like the Bengals were suddenly like, nope, no WRs.  They kept seeking and got Higgins and Chase. Heck, they've kept drafting WRs and landed two promising rookies in Jones and Iosivas.

Ignoring a need because we haven't found the right guy will just keep us without the right guy.  This draft has legit talent to pounce on.  I say we need to capitalize.

    • I really like the way this team is trending. Morgan and Canales rookie campaign saw them do some questionable picks but, they also did some really good things. Especially addressing the offensive line.  Young had such a disastrous rookie season where his confidence was nowhere to be seen.  You can attribute part of this to a terrible offensive line.  So, we focused on the O-line.   We then brought in several defensive free agents that were supposed to compliment Brown.  Once Brown went down those players could not hold the line.  2025 we focused on defense in Free Agency and brought in several good players.  We then added more talent in the draft.  I think we have competition in several areas where Vets are not guaranteed to be starters.  Our offensive line is pretty set with some good backups.  Our defensive line is going to be a war for who comes out to be the starters.  All in All, we are leaps and bounds much better than 2023 roster.  Canales made some rookie head coach mistakes but grew as the season progressed.  He got our QB, who was starting to look like a huge bust, playing with confidence and poise.  Now it appears Young is moving upwards.  Maybe he is a QB whisperer.  After Young started to play better our offense was fun to watch.  Morgan knows football and knows what he wants in his players.  It appears to me that not only are these players he's drafted really good and got great value for them, but they are also high motor, intense players. Our defense, in the past, was always the key to our success.  I think Morgan is building a great defense. I know it is too soon to tell but I believe we may have a tandem that will be around a long time.  It would be nice to see Morgan/Canales be in the same class as Lynch/Shanahan and Beane/McDermott.   I know many Huddlers will overreact, but I truly believe we have a tandem that will be around a long time. TIME WILL TELL. Go Panthers
    • I am actually really excited about this kid. One thing that really jumped off watching his highlights was he almost is too fast or almost over pursues. You can get away with that stuff in college but the NFL these guys are stronger and more "slippery".  Little things that can be corrected but he seems to have a motor which is always a plus!
