We just dont have a Peppers ,Jake , Steve Smith or Olsen or Luke or CMC or Thomas Davis or Kevin Greene or any real dominant face of the franchise we get behind and all agree we love. I miss those days of having personalities that dominate on the field and off and are good leaders too. Im not emotionally tied to anyone on this team. Our biggest personality Brian Burns cant hold a candle to the guys of the past and just doe snot have the dominance of his predecessors. This has been a damn hard year for me as a fan. One of teh saddest seasons I have ever seen and we arent even half way through.

Yeah, when you ask me who my favorite current players are I'm basically left with just a disappointed shrug for a response. We traded the last guys I was truly a big fan of when we dealt CMC and DJ.

My thinking exactly. DJ was the last one I had any interest in as well. The rest of these guys can all go kick rocks for all I care. I think Luvu for me has potential as I like his story and se him play with some fire but he may be my only hope. At one time we had multiple personality guys every year.

Chinn could be one of those guys for me but he's one of our many square pegs in round holes.

If you look back at the 2015 team it was loaded with dogs.  Olsen, TD, Cam, Luke, Kalil, Jno, Peanut, and then the second-tier guys like Charles Johnson and Kurt Coleman.  So much swagger and personality and all of them would lay it on the line for the guy next to them.

We're just a shell now.  A zombie team staggering around aimlessly.

Like just for one example, imagine if 2015 Third Leg Greg was on this team.  Think we'd be winless?  And that was just one dude.

I knew Hayden Hurst was no third leg Greg but my god I thought he would be at least more than he has been. Greg could will an offense and was a young QB's savior

I'm starting to think that Reich is just to controlled/controlling a personality, much like Rhule was.

They both have the result of keeping everything under control and end up suppressing personality.

Rhule was by design. Reich is by nature.

I like Reich, but he's holding the team back. And having so many old school characters around us having that effect.

Reich needs to go.

Caldwell needs to go.

Capers needs to go.

And that other dinosaur that we aren't supposed to know about who is back wandering around the halls and advising the FO needs to go as well.

Just like with DC, it's time for the old guys to move on and the young blood take over.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
