I get it but that's where I gotta disagree.

You can't get rid of a guy that quick, especially someone out of rookie contract.

Which is why I said ditch Moton and flip him over there. Whatever, just moving him to OG at this point is a huge failure because he could play LT in a different scheme.

Against poor teams...

Said earlier the Tampa game where Mike Evans literally scored on the same play repeatedly pretty much sealed his fate.

Wasn't a fan of keeping Al Holcomb as DC either.

Yes I remember that.  That's because Horn went down the week before again.  Wilks did a good job, we can't even beat bad teams now.

Instead we decided to dismantled our running game, traded our best receiver, liquidate all of our draft capital, and somehow its still better then just hiring Wilks right?

See, I'd actually favor moving Ickey to LG, trying Moton at LT and plugging someone else in at right tackle.

I just don't have any confidence that's going to happen because we've been crying to try Moton at LT for years now and the most we got was like a part of a game from Rivera.

Well we decided to do was basically start over.

As far as the trades and such, we likely don't get to the number one spot without them.

Throw in that fair or not, Wilks appears to be in danger of getting fired from his DC job.

Dragged maybe, but mostly by people who have nothing to say except "everything sucks". Likewise, I doubt they're going to take the time to actually read them and they or may not understand what they're reading if they do.

Also to be clear, I'm not doing that at all.

The biggest problem in the folks on here is insisting they know a thing is that they actually don't. I'm talking about things I don't know versus things I do. Likewise, I'm coming to conclusions after weeks of discussion, not the first quarter of a preseason game.

I get that people want to be able to say they were the first ones to say something. I find that kinda dumb.

I'm always going to take time to consider my opinions.

Agreed. The wise man lets things play out before even beginning to try and draw definitive conclusions. There's a contingent of Huddlers that hate patience and time, but that's the only way you can know what the hell you're talking about in regards to most players; anything else is simply a guess. Puffing out one's chest over a guess is kinda comical. This is not to say that there weren't some serious misgivings by folks, but to be honest, I've been most surprised by Young's inaccuracy, and no one was really talking about that.

But at the end of the day, we all knew there was a chance that Stroud could be better, and today it looks more and more undeniable. That's a damn shame being that we have such an experienced NFL staff.

Moton at LT would just be more of the same to me, I have seen enough to think ickey is better than Moton will ever be at LT. Neither are well built for this blocking scheme and I think Ickey is just a better version of the same mold while Moton has the experience.

Either blow it up or waste value making players do a position change that is more damage control than an actual good idea.

Seriously though, what's your updated opinion on Carr?
