Years of bad decisions

Who was the RB in 2017 or was that a typo? Also don’t forget Evan Mathis. But this current cluster all goes back to Matt Rhule. Bridgewater should have never been here. We had Cam in the final year of his contract, all we had to do was keep him and see if he was still our guy. Then if he leaves and signs somewhere in FA he gets factored into the comp pick formula. Also, Hurney wanted to trade up for Justin Herbert but Rhule didn’t.

You're wrong on multiple counts.

Cam was toast and needed to go.  We didn't handle it well, at all, but the decision was the right one.  The potential compensatory pick for Cam is a flea on the a^# of the issue.

Bridgewater had a three year contract.  He should have been here for all of it.  How much did we sacrifice for deciding Bridgewater wasn't our guy after one year?  The mistake wasn't signing Bridgewater, though perhaps we overpaid a bit, the mistake was getting rid of him.

How many draft picks did we surrender by cutting TB5?  How many players did we then get rid of because of it?  How much dead cap did we incur?  It was an absolutely horror show, and it all goes back to our owner not being patient.  Make no mistake, our owner drove the QB frenzy train.

We should have rode cam in 2019 or see if he was bluffing about a new deal.  If he wanted to sit we should have started Grier and taken this team to the studs to rebuild.   That’s the biggest mistake yet in the tepper era.   Thinking we could win out of the gate was fuging moronic.

Bridgewater was such a miserable quarterback that keeping him wasn’t an option. Nobody could tolerate more than a year of him.

Don't stop there, keep going.......

Wasting the best QB we will EVER have in Cam with Rivera and Shula smh

Drafting oversized WRs that can't run routes over actual receivers for Cam

Having Byron Bell and Nate fuggin Chandler protect your franchise hall of fame QB

Continuing to play Cam in meaningless games after that Chargers game when he was clearly hurt, which was the start of the end with Cam

Rescinding Norman's tag for no godamn reason right AFTER our superbowl season

Wasting 3 picks on CBS in that draft because of that decision

Trading for Gilmore and then not resigning him even though he wanted to be here

Drafting Horn over Surtain when Surtain was the consensus best CB on the board

Continuing to pay RBs big money in the modern NFL

It's fuggin endless with this sh*t franchise.

He wanted a mega contract which was the tipping point to just moving on vs going another year knowing the odds of it working out were poor.

That was his stance and the clubs but I never heard a real number from Cam's side or if a one year prove it deal would work for his side. If not then Teddy was the painful best call IMO. I loved Cam but that injury was his career's turning point. 3 year contract means 2 to 3 years for TB but they actually pushed blame off on him and he was aweful to watch with a coaching staff that knew so little about the NFL. It's just so much fail.
