Your opinion.. Love Stroud but at some point ppl have to admit that Houston built a better team and the other players should get some credit..

They built a better team who the same people on here said stroud would struggle before the season because the roster was so bad and he wasnt used to not having talent around him yet houston brought back pretty much the same roster from last year plus shultz and draft picks and a first year OC calling plays....Yes, everybody deserves SOOOOOO much more credit.

Yes you can have an all pro roster to make a mediocre QB look good, or you can have an all pro QB who makes a mediocre roster look good

I’m waiting to see how he look with a pro roster on offense… Asking for a all start out this bunch is to much lol

Yes they do.. For some reason that bad roster is playing better and it isn’t 1 player doing it..

Their defense has made a jump..

The Oline has been consistent..

Tank Dell and Nico Collin’s have developed into weapons you fear..

The coaching on both sides of the ball is obviously better..

This is suppose to be the ultimate team sport right.. So why is it so hard to give credit to that team..

True to a certain extent.  Even Prime Cam couldn't fix this level of dysfunction.

Cam had jabronis at WR a lot, and a lot of bad Olineman, but never, ever in conjunction was it ever this bad.

This is honestly one of if not the worst situations a rookie QB has ever been put in.  And we were told as a franchise that wasn't going to be the case.

You think Bryce's family likes watching him get plastered every week?  I guarantee you this is not how they thought this was going to go, either.

No QB that has ever lived is turning this chicken sh*t into chicken salad.  I don't even know how to reason with someone who can't comprehend that.

Did everyone here watch the game yesterday?  Maybe I'm just old and need to stop watching but jesus christ where are some of these comments coming from?

BY9 didn't forget how to play football.  He made several crazy throws yesterday to guys with literally no separation and fit the ball in.

When guys were actually open at the top of his drop, he hit them perfectly.

I've watched Stroud, and there is absolutely nothing he is doing that Bryce couldn't or wouldn't given time.

Maybe it's just the overall dysfunction of this franchise over the past 6 years, but I am astounded people are blaming Bryce.

I've watched a lot of bad, bad QB play in Carolina.  BY9 is not a bad QB.  He is a good QB playing on one of the most dysfunctional and inane offenses in NFL history.  He has to be perfect to even attempt to overcome the incredibly dumb penalties and awful personnel.

Like a lot of PSL owners, I'm done after this season.

Trading up for Bryce was 100% a mistake, but it would have been 100% a mistake trading up for any QB with this roster.  Anyone saying otherwise is stupid or hasn't watched us play.

CJ Stroud isn't elevating this roster.  Prime Cam Newton isn't elevating this roster.  Patrick effing Mahomes ain't cooking with these misfits.  Sorry, but only a delusional person would think otherwise.

Watching people crap on Bryce (after crapping on DJ & CMC & Cam) honestly just makes me want to see him go somewhere else and thrive like everyone else (as long as it's not in the NFC South).  These players honestly deserve better, too.

Reading dumb stuff like this just makes me want to stop watching the NFL period.

We used to be a somewhat proud franchise.  Now we're blaming a 22-year old rookie for not saving this franchise for the accumulation of 6 years of bad decisions.

Poverty franchise from the top all the way down, unfortunately...

It's just a flat out myth that everyone is blaming Bryce for everything. The entire offense is broken, but the entire offense includes Bryce. He's a big part of what's wrong.

I swear some of y'all wake up every morning and give yourselves a pep talk in the mirror on this stuff

    • They've gone way overboard with the masking of plays by only filming the ball in air.  Nobody is analyzing camp highlights.
    • Canales up first. Guys got their legs back yesterday and started a little slow when they came out Bryce challenged them in the huddle and they responded "Dominant practice for the defense today." Praised turnovers, "beautiful hits," and being physical Praised Moehrig, Ransom, Incoom, and Jones II Confirmed playing starters. Predominantly a young team and can't pass up an opportunity. Emphasized game day routines such as nutrition, body readiness, etc. Plus it's a bunch of new guys on the defense. Bryce will start. Will play them the first two, but starters might sit for the third game depending on how practice goes that week. Nic Scourton has a mild hamstring that happened in special teams. DJ Johnson had an issue with his hip flare up and is getting checked out this afternoon. Experimenting with approach to preseason games. In Seattle they played their starters in all but the last preseason game and what Pete Carroll was looking for in terms of mental readiness to play football. Thomas Incoom has been getting a lot of work with AC Carter adding to his toolbelt. Getting better as a rusher and being physical in the run game. Looking for a consistency in response. 1pt for a win, 3pts for a TD. Defense doesn't like that, but in games if they give up one go ball the score can swing. They challenged the pass game and the run game today. Guys are getting together before, between, and after team drills to challenge each other Job of the coaching staff to set the foundation for our schemes, philosophy, and expectations of what it's like to play Panthers football. Powerful when players take that and the locker room owns it. That's when it becomes our team, their team. At the end of the day, the men on the field have to rebound from a bad play, celebrate the good plays, and keep each other in tune for a whole game. Robert Hunt is amazing. Size, talent, quickness, flexibility. Really intelligent guy that there will say himself there are technique things he needs to work on. Regardless of where players are at, there's a constant learning curve and loves that Big Rob is challenging himself with the position coach. Thinks the digital down and distance can be really valuable. Getting the information quickly will help with the flow of the game. Thought TMac looked great but there were some near misses that he'll have to get in the room and communicate with Bryce on while reviewing film. James Mitchell keeps doing right and his trust factor is increasing with the QBs. If you're right and the coverage says the ball goes there, it'll come. Had some issues at the start of camp but is trending up. Newton or Person: "It looked like today was beyond thud but short of live. What do you call that?" Canales: "No, that's thud. In my mind, that's what thud should look like. The challenge for our defensive guys is can you put your body in a position where we know that would've been a tackle." Whizzing by, tagging with two hands, etc doesn't show you whether you would've made a tackle. That's not real football. Let's the play extend because guys have to be ready to chase sometime where the ball squirts out from a pit. Can't train to say "Ah, it was a tackle" and relax but instead play with intensity through the whistle. Lathan Ransom is bringing the physical style of play that they saw on film. Has been really into the details and someone that they can count on. Has really given himself a chance to start at the other safety position. Excited for the extra energy from a game-like environment that they'll get from FanFest. Used to have four preseason games and now FanFest feels like that first one. Will give ST full speed reps to evaluate. Making plays and feeding off of the fans. Window closed quickly on the INT to finish practice. CSW baited Bryce with some movement and made a great play. Saw it from Bryce's perspective with TMac coming open. Has played all over the secondary that they can count on to speak loudly and be on the same page with his teammates.
