I know Odunze.

but wonder where these other Washington WRs will go in the draft

McMillan is legit for dang sure. Him back really changes everything for them. Loosing Johnson in the backfield really hurts them though. He isn't right tonight.

Polk, McMillan, Odunze…we haven’t seen the real Washington today.  Michigan DL is one reason but they have to get aggressive.

Michigan is going to win though…pretty clear

We gotta get at least one of these college wrs in r2 or r3. There's a ton of talent in this draft at that position.

Shitty time to not have a r1 pick.  We could've had our pick of qbs, LT, WR . Nuts man. That's what I'd do if I were the bears, I'd trade off fields,  draft Caleb Williams, trade up like the Texans did last year, and get Marvin Harrison Jr right after that.

Could you imagine if we woudlve flipped Burns for a 2nd and 4th or something? We could've gotten 2 really good wrs

    • That is probably a good point that I did not consider. It doesn’t force their hand financially, to declare early.
    • Realistically he's probably not still going to be under contract when hes good to go again? Unfortunately for him you cant sign him for more than a small one year deal until he can prove hes still a good player... that might not happen.  I think hes played his last down as a panther.
    • It has been going down that backyard ball road with the QBs a long time. It also has made it more difficult to evaluate OL for the pro game.    I agree though that the NIL is making it even worse. Then they get in the league and suck, coaches get fired. Here comes a new system every year for some of them, same as you are talking about in college.    Unfortunately, IMO, the league has responded by taking the path of least resistance offensively.    The only saving grace for the QB problem we identified here is the slotted salaries out of the draft. No more 100 million rookie deals. Which today would be 250 million and even more.  So to me, paying a player that doesn’t bring success in the first two or three years, you can’t do it. Better to take another shot in the draft or reclaim someone else's failure. Given that all staffs are not equal. Look what Shanahan did with Purdy for instance. And their getting off of Lance quickly.    In theory if Canales is a QB whisperer type, which we don’t know he isn’t at least to a higher degree than many (not including the established masters) we should be quicker on the trigger with these QBs. If Bryce doesn’t show out next year we really need to hit the reset.
