Call me stubborn all you like but I am not giving up on a ROOKIE QB after one season... Said it from the beginning and will stay with it.

Now if he is unsuccessful next season with a new coaching staff, my tone will change but if we suck, at least 2025 we will have a top pick and will go QB again

Are we acting like this season didn’t happen??

Rosen nor Clausen were the qb1 starter going into their seasons. Got put in because Matt Moore sucked or got injured (can’t remember), sam Bradford sucked or got injured and Rosen came in. Neither was a messiah.

Wow... So is Bryce really like 5'3" then?? Because he easily looks three or four inches smaller than brees

TBH, I think Bryce is probably around 5'8" to 5'9", or at least his eye level is the same as an average person who's 5'8" to 5'9".

You’re starting to make caveat to opinion that didn’t have them when you 1st posted it..

Lawrence 1st year was bad and he had a lower QB rating..

Does that count in your analysis??

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
