Rod Coleman & D-Will Rumors

FWIW...

The Chargers gained some ammo in the case of potential draft movement when they traded Charlie Whitehurst...

What if... the Chargers offered their first rounder (#28), their newly gained second rounder (#40), and something else like one of next year's 3rd rounders (I think they have like 3 now) for D-Will, straight up?

Sure, Sproles could be a part of any potential trade, but I doubt it... Maybe they have someone biting the hook on that and know they have another 1st and 3rd coming their way?

I'd take that deal for D-Will in a second, even though I don't want to trade him... We'd have a 1st, two seconds, and an extra pick next year... That would allow us to fill 3 of our biggest holes... while sacrificing a little bit at the same time...

Who knows? Maybe we like someone like Jahvid Best or Ryan Matthews enough that we see them as a target in one of those earlier picks...

I would take that trade. Maybe that is why the panthers are trying to sign D-will to an extension….*stirs pot*

First time poster but been a longtime follower of the huddle. Gotta give the huddle team props I really enjoy the site. With that being said, I'd like to also respectfully request that ya'll be easy on the new guy I'm not claiming to be preaching the gospel so here it goes. My brother-in-law was working at a restaurant in Concord Mills today and said Rod Coleman came in and ate. He waited on him and said the whole time he was on the phone talking business(negotians to be precise). When he called me I knew he played for ATL but didnt know much else so I googled him and what I could find said he was a free agent. Not comdeming or condoning the possability but he is a vet with good experience that could be had cheap considering he's on the downside of his carrer. To be honest he might have been talking to another team or just talking about something totally different. He!!, he might live here, I haven't a clue??? Also a good friend of mine and a fellow business owner also mentioned to me a trade rumor about Deangelo. I read the same rumor here last week on the MB. Cant remember who the poster was but he had said something about D-Will to San Diego for a first and Sproles. Well my buddy owns a restraurant of which a few players as well as their family members eat at on a regular basis. Needless to say a family member told him this was being discussed and that it was being seriously considered. He said they didn't seem like they were too excited about it, kind of mixed feelings on the situation. So too the posters credit he was giving everyone on the MB some credible info. I would hate the move personally. Vincent Jackson and 1st & 3rd I'd be all in. Nevertheless we havent had much news here and figured something was better than nothing. Sorry if I stirred the pot.

You lost me at My Brother-in-law waited on him and he said...

Wooooooow! I understand I dont warrant the respect from any of you and yes the Rod Coleman incident is just speculation, however it is somewhat intersting that he was here. But really? Some of you should give people that post a little more credit. Obviously the guy that posted the d-will trade did have legit info. If all you ever do is blast people for giving a little FYI as a curtious gesture, no matter what it may be, do you think they will want to come back. Probably not! You might not care but I'm sure the site loves the traffic, and you're taking that away from them. I've seen a lot more ridiculous post than what I have posted which were humored by the all the message board regulars. Show some class, as for me I'm done here. Probably one of the most unwelcoming message boards I've been on. I hope you choose to use better judgment with new users in the future.

Welcome to the Carolinahuddle message board, face it, everybody has their critics on this board, I know I do, but I think we all respect each other even when we call each other pooheads :D
