Our stadium experience blows in comparison to others around the league!

I think its just the people in Charlotte if you ask me. I remember going to hornets playoff games and everyone sitting and never cheering that much. The only thing I don't like about the Panthers is that they enable that attitude.

It's true during the recent Delhomme games no one really gave a poo. The team's performance has a lot to do with the crowd especially in a small city like Charlotte. You also have to remember this is also a very young and new organization not some team that moved or has been around forever.

I have been to many Viking, 49er and Cowboy games at their stadium and taking the things above into consideration its not that much different...things like tradition take time to develop.

i always go to my brother's crib. 52 inch, 1080p HDTV, bojangles, a few blunts, some cold ones and a bag of tostitos tortilla chips. his couch isn't all that great, but that's because he has two dogs and they like to tear sh*t up. but his couch is better than sitting next to some 60 year old dude who's there watching the game with his granddaughter, so i know i can't curse (even though i shouldn't be) when the other team scores.

What about bar experience?

this. i actually prefer hitting up a local watering hole with some buddies to either of the two mentioned options... it's more fun that being at home and way cheaper than going to the stadium every week.

Soon as I can unload my PSLs for a reasonable price, I plan to spend much more time at home. We have had some great times, but since they told us we were making too much noise, it just has not been the same there. Yall have fun. I would just as soon save the $$ and stay home. For us it's 3 hours on the road. Tickets $137, usually with eats and beer it's about that much more again.

It is not just being at the stadium or being at home but the whole game day experience versus sitting at home or some variation of the above like Attending the tailgate and watching on TV or at a bar.

I look forward to Sunday and plan the tailgate and the game- where to park. Go to the huddle tailgate or the old fart's tailgate. Have one of our own. Whatever. But if you make a day of it, the whole experience takes on a bigger stake and ultimately either a great day if we win or at least a great tailgate if we lose.

If you watch TV you don't have the hassle or the expense and we all do it for away games for the most part. Nothing wrong with it at all. Bring over a few friends and have your own cookout. Good times.

Still as long as I can afford it, I am going to go to home games and tailgate 10 times a year. I really look forward to the fall. Nothing else is like it.

    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
    • This thread is dumb. But I do think canales gets too cute with play calling and I don't think he's a good coach
