What does CBS know. They’re dead wrong.

Bryce has been doing tricep extensions and hammer curls all summer on his right arm. He is going to have one of the strongest arms in the NFL this year, if not the strongest.

Bryce will win MVP this year and dunk on all the haters.

Lmaooooo.....bryces trainer is on the huddle. Oh boy

I totally missed that. Who was yelling do you think?

I don't know who was yelling....all I know is it's apart of football so it could be anybody. Also I have never heard a football player talk about yelling specifically because I thought it was expected.

And what makes you believe Richardson is or will be a bust? Dude was iffy throwing the ball his rookie year but so was Josh Allen. You want to scrap him after an injury shortened season with Shane Steichen as his head coach, go ahead.

odds are not in your favor there.

Because he was a very inaccurate passer in college and the history of those guys making it is pretty clear. It's possible he could be an outlier but there is a reason you mention Allen, he is really the only one that did turn it around. I don’t bet on outliers.

And that is without mentioning that he is primarily a run first decision maker while being injury prone(not good) and that he was(IIRC) the only rookie QB with a lower percentage of deep targets than Young.

I was not a big AR fan before the draft and he really did nothing to make me change my mind in year one.

Not every player responds to that sort of coaching style. This is the biggest nothingburger of all time. Some players prefer a fired up guy that wears his emotions on his sleeve and some want a more calm coach. This has existed since the beginning of coaching and playing. Nothing new here.

Yeah okay....here you go buddy. 2 minute mark. He was asked what he liked about Canales the MOST and he said the calming presence. Then he mentions the yelling coaching style in the game but Canales is more laid back and he teaches which he prefers. The point is, he said he liked that the most about him but bringing up the yelling when that has always been apart the game sounds like he doesn't like it too much even if it mentions its okay. This also isnt the first time he has mentioned loud noise bothering him. But the main thing is you said he never said it at all when he did.

    • Absolutely LOVED Smitty as a player. Who didn't? But Smitty the person, yeah... not so much. Unfortunately all those things that made us love him as a player had no off switch. He was basically the exact same person off the field that was on the field and that's obviously just not gonna work well in polite society.
    • And our record says we were a losing team that lucked into getting into the playoffs. Playoffs are not our standard because we didn't earn our way in, the Falcons had to do it for us. We also got in because the NFCS sent another losing record team to the playoffs and the Panthers are the only team in the NFL to go twice with a losing record. That's not something to be proud of. The reason I brought up the 13 and 16 point scores was those are not typically wins most weeks in the NFL. In fact, there were 31 wins this season where the winning team scored under 20. 7 of those happened in week 18. That means this past season, only 11% of the time, the winning team scored under 20. Prior to week 18, that was 9%. Week 18 was a statistical anomaly.  How often does a team go into the red zone 6 times and come away with 13 points? Not often. GB did and we won that game. And we played a Jets team (0-7 at the time) that was offensively inept. Teams also don't consistently win one score games as often as we did either. Those things tend to balance themselves out the following year. I'm not erasing wins. I'm looking at how this team actually performed during the season. We defied the odds winning 2 games scoring under 20. The record, and the stats across the NFL, show we are in reality closer in performance to a 6 win team than we are to 8.    If Bryce was a FA for another team would we be looking at him? Probably not. He's in the retread and dice roll category. It just so happens we just signed him to the option. There's not a lot of good options out there right now. That's why I'm not in the sign a vet as QB2 club. Bring in a retread or dice roll. Trotting a vet out a couple of games isn't going to get us anywhere long term.
    • Not sure he is in the top ten but: His 9.99 RAS score, second among 1,512 tackles since 1987, isn't a gimmick. You see every bit of that explosiveness translate to the field when he kicks and slides in pass sets. NFLDraftBuzz
