Panthers Madden Sims 2024 Schedule

I know zero about Madden football but was sucked in due to boredom and watched a couple of simulation games or Madden contests whatever they are. Someone is running 2024 season schedules played as Madden games. They are about an hour long. Maybe you guys hate them, I don’t know enough about setting up a Madden contest to know if it is righteous but it was kind of fun to look at. Haven’t watched this one yet, probably  will tonight.  Bryce looked really good vs Chicago in week 5 lol. I was shocked. The OL, entire team, included.

I spent about 35-40 minutes skimming through each game. It’s painful. Don’t watch it if you’re optimistic at all.

That being said though, they still have the offense running the same Frank spread BS and throwing 5 yards 40+ times per game. So not really all that realistic either from what we are hearing about the philosophy.

Well this one is more like it, 28-3 Falcons in the 3rd before I just stopped.  Sorry.

Bryce lovers: watch the Chicago game not this one. Bet the farm on Bryce.

I'm more willing to bet that Bryce could be a top QB and he'd still be trashed by fans.

It’s last year Madden so no surprise. Coach may look like Canales but it is just Reich in disguise.

They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.

pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.

You are sick. Okay I am joking you have to specify nowadays.\

FWIW I saw one sim where the Cowboys I think it was, broke 50 on us.

I have never gamed. Know zip about Madden. The representations of passes is a trip.

They are all beautiful spirals on a flat trajectory, there aren’t any touch throws. No ducks at all. It is really weird to see a Bryce ball go 40 yards on a rope. If he could really do that there would be some tune changing going on.

You can actually throw touch , lob, or bullet passes depending on the button presses. But bullet is the most commonly used one.

See, there you go. I don’t need another time suck or I would check that out. But I don’t care really about that, it is ‘can he make that throw in reality?’ which really is our most critical unknown.

Even though I think I and others know the answer, so it IS known, proof is always better than a good theory.

    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
