Na'il Diggs going to Rams.

The St. Louis Rams are reportedly about to sign free agent linebacker Na'il Diggs.

Our old friend Aaron Wilson tweets that Diggs is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with the Rams.

Diggs, who will turn 32 in July, played from 2006 to 2009 with the Carolina Panthers and from 2000 to 2005 with the Green Bay Packers. In 2009 he appeared in 14 games and started 11 for the Panthers.

A week ago Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Diggs and the Rams were close. It's taken a week to get from "close" to "on the verge," but it appears that it won't be too much longer until it's done.

agreed... he's solid but not flashy. makes all the plays he needs to and should make... but doesnt do too many eye popping things or amass insane stats!

Between the Rams and the Bears most of our castaways knows they are gonna get a chance with ether of these teams. Also it has not worked out very well for those teams ether. I really thought Spoon was gonna be a star and boy did he implode.

me too. i like players like him. not the best at their position, but work hard to keep their job, and keep their mouth shut. he's a classy guy, plus he has the coolest first name for a linebacker ever.
