I started a thread saying last November that he needed to be our pick in 25 lol

We have had a bunch of good players at Arizona since I went there, lots that I thought would be good NFL players, some panned out and others didn’t.

But there have only been 2 that I felt were can’t miss stars that will be many times over pro bowl type of players.

Gronkowski and T-Mac

Another good sign from the looks of it his QB isn't really that good. He's made some bad throws so far. If you still have production with a bad QB that's a sign of a special WR.

I wasn't talking about Morgan, he is gonna defer to Canales on that, 100%. And the OC, those guys should be better than what we have had picking them. All I am saying.

Ah. I'll withhold on DC and his staff until a little later this season. That's if I keep watching games. If Sunday ends up like last Sunday, then that's a wrap.

That's assuming they are here. WTF do I know to expect? I may not be here either.

No he’s actually real good, just made a bad decision or two tonight so far, all QB’s do.

He was the national freshman of the year last year and would have been a Heisman candidate if he had started from game 1, didn’t take over until game 4 I think

Just turned the game on a minute ago ... Arizona has a Bryce-sized QB. Holy crap. But the difference is he has moxy.

This is so damn shortsighted.  Bryce had 80 TD passes in college in like 2 years and had all kinda moxie.  Bash pro Bryce but college Bryce was completely dominant.

I’ll take it, first road game of the year, first “Big 12” game even though it’s considered non conference and only down 7 despite all the mistakes.

We can win this game, just feed T-Mac and good things will happen

You might win regardless. It is the Wildcats taking on the Wildcats after all.Exit Strategy Life GIF

Lol this one is over my man.

That QB is suspect if you ask me. He does a lot of running around with the ball trying to make a big play. Just throw the ball.

He’s definitely trying to do too much tonight, but the WRs outside of T-Mac aren’t exactly getting open and they keep doubling him to force someone else to step up

yea, we’ll lose this one, but T-Mac is still a beast

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
