What was he before?  5-7th round?  I saw him projected in the 2nd to the Broncos on tankathon.

Yeah, I think he was basically considered a late round flyer type of pick before. I don't think he'll climb all the way to the 2nd but I won't be shocked if he sneaks into the 3rd and I'll be pretty surprised if he falls past the 4th.

Tuimoloau and Sawyer are really solid edge rushers man.  Judkins and Henderson are good RBs too.  Egbuka and Jeramiah Smith  at WR. Steady QB with Will Howard. Ohio State is just loaded with talent everywhere man!!

The maybe only X Factor that Notre Dame might have is their QB is really good at running the ball. I think Penn State forced him to throw two picks.

pretty much he was a late round flyer. After than insane game he had against Texas, with that much publicity and almost single handedly beating a team with far superior talent by himself??

pfffft. He's probably going R3 at the latest now. Unless he runs a glacial 40 time at the combine.

Marcus Freeman is probably the coach of the year, but now it feels like this is Ohio State's year to win the title.

who is the next Alabama QB?

The battle will likely be between Ty Simpson, a former 5 star recruit and RS Sophomore, and Keelon Russell, an incoming 5 star.

Simpson is a holdover from Saban’s time. Russell is a DeBoer recruit. I don’t know how, or if, that will factor into the equation at all.

They could also keep an eye on the portal, I guess, but the pickings are getting slim there, and I definitely don’t want Ewers.

Yeah if you came into this with no media bate you would think Ewers was a backup and Howard was a raw prospect with a potentially high ceiling.

If all you know of college football is the playoffs….the QB rankings would look really different than the national narrative.  ASU and Clemson would have the dudes at QB.  SMU imploding is really the only reason you wouldn’t almost flip the rankings completely upside down vs what was sold.  Not saying that is reality either but everything does get skewed to the media darlings

Stand up move by Sarkisian to blame his players for not blocking right. Yeah bro, every play ends up in the endzone if it works perfectly as designed. Meanwhile, the OSU players are saying you very predictable go to that play in key moments and they knew it was coming. If the D knows exactly what's coming you're cooked. That's on you not your players.

If that was any other game he puts Arch in IMO to get that series of short yardage attempts done.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
