Well, I think if we had the hypothetical discussion on Bill coming to college a month ago….we would be basically Brady and Gronk laughing at it together.

I mean there is a path for it to work.  A path for Dabo to win his 3rd natty I guess too.   I don’t think they are high % plays.

I think we will know fairly quick if BB’s brand means that much in college football.  Have to see who leaves and jumps in the portal for him.

Sounds like all of our portal guys are pulling their names out until they can talk to the new staff. I have a friend in Greensboro who has a lot of local sports connections and used to work for ESPN. There's a certain 5* 2026 QB committed to an SEC team who is evidently ready to flip on a dime to Carolina when Carolina really wasn't even in the running for him during his recruitment.

If you’re a top defensive recruit you are sending your tape to UNC (Mike Lombardi lmao) via courier.

belichick was notorious for making rookie qbs look like morons. Imagine what he’s going to do to some 20 year old portal transfer at NC State.

if you don’t want to watch unc win the ACC with the nations best defense and an offense running plays from the 19th century I don’t know what to tell you.

Our defense has been underperforming for a decade. The overall talent level is significantly higher than the results on the field. I'm not saying they're a top tier defensive roster, that's just not accurate. But they're also nowhere near being bottom of the barrel and that's what they've been in the field.

belichicks closest college comparison is Saban for obvious reasons

I want you to lie back, get comfy, put on some Otis Redding, and look at Sabans first full recruiting class (2007 was kinda hurried and rushed)

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
