Haven't seen many updates on him either; but he's projected to take over soon after his return.
I stashed him on both of my fantasy teams so I'm double invested lol

There is zero chance Brooks "takes over".  That's ridiculous.  Chubba is a beast and holds up quite reliably in protection.  That poo ain't easy to learn and most rookie RB lose snaps because of it.  I just don't understand why it's so hard to see that Chubba is one of our better players.

Absolutely. Chuba Hubbard has significantly improved his pass protection and has really adjusted to the league. Just look at Bijan Robinson's struggles against the Chiefs as a prime example of how poor pass protection can hurt a team.

Chuba will continue the lead role, and I’m sure Brooks will gradually find his place as well. I'm excited for both of them and hope we can keep Chuba at a fair price while continuing to develop Brooks for a strong one-two punch.

I think his was going to be a little while (like mid-season) if I remember right, I could be wrong.

I think Crumedy, Wonnum, Barno, and Dane Jackson are all eligible to come back after the Cincinnati game this week.

Yeah, I wouldn't get my hopes up on Brooks for the first half of the season. If he can make it back by the second half of 2024, that will work.

Chuba is playing like a man with a payday ahead of him. Great guy, amazing progress he's made here. I'd love to see Brooks and him doing the double trouble thing here a la Williams and Stewart.

Right now, Chuba has the reins and he deserves them. Let Brooks come along as he heals and see what happens.

    • And remind y’all that Rico Dowdle ran the ball 7 times on Monday.
    • I didn't want to pay him and they should have traded him before the 20+ million in dead cap. I feel this is another "blame tepper", he wanted a QB and Panthers only had 4 draft picks. CMC got a bad health report and missed games, but league still valued him and he was the best player on the team. Shitttttterererererererer traded him for 4 future picks, the future 2nd ended up being 61st........so all the other draft picks in 5th 4th were next to last, just a mistake. Yes 49ers at the time looked cook, but CMC helped them reach the SB. Used that 2nd and 3rd in the BY and DJ Johnson trades.....just awful returns. It was dirty to wilks to trade CMC while he was trying to make the playoffs, best I member the run game got better after the trade....   Im just one of those "never pay RB, safety, or MLBs" unless cheap/all world. CMC is not all world, but he's dang close.  Poorly handle, he bought a big home and thought he'd remain a career panther....Herniay made him the 16 million man, tops by 4 full million and no RB passed that mark for 2 years, God dam fug you herniay.  Im anti-RB, but about the last thing they should have done was trade a 1000 1000 threat that wanted to stay here, just total fumble by the Panthers/tepper/herniay/fittterererererererere per normal for this time-line.
