Looks good.  I wouldn't mind having one, just not ready to make that move yet.

10 years ago I thought they were not a smart choice.

Now? I think if you have 2 cars in your family, one should be EV. Ive worked on cars and a "car" guy for many years. EVs just have less to worry about- no water, no spark plugs, no drive shaft, no oil changes, etc  etc. Unless you drive over 300 miles each, it makes better sense.

Someone tboned my wife's car a few years ago just as the post Covid shut downs were ending.  It was paid off, so the other guys insurance cut us a big check.  We were going to get a Rav4 plug in hybrid, but it was a six month wait.  And she wanted the Rav, so we ended up going with the gas model.  Maybe next time, although I hope hers last 10-15 years.

Sorry I know that feel, a paid off car wrecked, ugh..... I still miss my Buick.

The current car market is beyond dumb, stay away. New and used is the most insane in history, guys were selling their used 2018 trucks for more than than paid new, Im talking with 100,000 on the dash. I sold some land and jumped in, heres tip for anyone listening. If you want the best bargain, gulp KIA came with winners at many levels. I was legit shocked. One thing the biden group did was offer 7,500 price break on EVs. I wanted Tesla, got over ruled and when with lyriq.

I flew to maryland and pick it up.

I learned how to view inventory and watched it like a hawk, im sure there was a rav4 out there. They are good cars. I got a 2007 144,000 on it with bad paint. Still runs great and it handles like a go cart. It always wants to down shift with its touchy pedal.

poor people in the future will not own cars.

there is interest!!

Miles Sanders‘ future in Carolina was a talking point leading up to the campaign, and his situation still makes a departure something to watch closely for. The veteran running back is drawing trade interest as the Panthers contemplate offloading any number of contracts in the near future.

Sanders being here is really Fitterer doing the paper and phone work. He is here because the new staff wanted him. Reich and Staley. Pretty sure.

Staff turnover type of a thing where he doesn't know Foreman or Chuba from the last guy's team.

    • Rico walking is no big deal. I'll take a healthy 2024 Hubbard over Rico any time and losing Mays is, again, no a big deal.  Young is signed for what, $35M for the next two years? Say he wants $50M but the FO doesn't. If they put the franchise tag on him, that would be around $55? So basically they are getting Young for the next 3 years for an average of $30M per year. Putting the franchise tag on him wouldn't be my first choice but it gives them an option that wouldn't be locking him into a long term, $50M contract. I'm not suggestion they do that. Just that the option will be there should they get to that point. Hunt is on a 5 year deal which is done in 28 so he either restructures or is gone anyway. Moton will be 35 by then and will either be gone or have diminished playing time. Neither of those players has anything to do with getting Young a contract. The O line is way overpaid anyway. Hopefully by the time they are gone, Freeling and Hecht will be developed and Ickey will be healthy. Young was benched his second year and only got his job back because Dalton was injured. Not sure how you can call that entitled. And I would NOT say putting a rookie QB on a team with no receivers, tight ends or O lineman and then being put with a coach who never wanted you and is fired mid season, is a definition of luck. As far as competition, no team is going to bring in competition for a QB picked first overall - especially given the capital that was given up to get him.
    • With apologies to Lady Cowboy fan, any day we can screw over the Cowboys is a GOOD day…
    • Been here since 2014ish. Good times. Its a shame Zod wont sell, it wouldnt take that much effort to get this place back into shape.
