Can’t believe I’m saying it but Jameis Winston is by far my choice on this list. Upbeat good locker room culture guy and he’s a gun slinger who pushes the ball down field like Canales wants. Will he throw a ton of picks? You bet. But at least there will be entertainment watching it.

Get a bridge QB, just deal with his limitations, and build the roster again. When the right qb lands at your time to draft, take him. Don’t trade assets to get him.

Oh yeah I forgot about Winston. That dude can definitely sling the leather. Its either going in his guy's hands or the other teams but he is always fun to watch and plays fearless. Also has a potential to give some good pregame speeches and eat some W's which anybody has to enjoy seeing.

At least Jameis would provide some comic relief, and would also be a shot for Canales to do his "QB whisperer" thing with a talented vet. This could be is new Geno, to show that he's actually the real deal when fixing qb's and that he didn't just get lucky with Geno and Baker back to back.

Probably going to get torched for these two names that I’m about to throw out there.

Why not take a flyer on Zach Wilson or Mason Rudolph? It’s not like they would do any worse than what we already have on this team.

Also, another interesting name would be Trey Lance. Not sure what Dallas has been doing with him, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring them in and see what’s been going on with them. I know we don’t need any more reclamation  projects on this team.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
