i went to a small church potluck in the middle of arkansas once and after i got done eating, some old lady came up and asked how i liked the possum casserole. i asked the person next to me of she was joking. she wasn't. the thing is, i didn't know which thing i ate would have been it but she saw me get some.

Them SC folks eat anything.

From snake to possum to rats to cats to racoons to squirrels. You name it they eat it.

I'm in SC and currently these days I'm mostly eating a 28 year old 5'4 120 pound black haired product from NC. It's good eating but it does come with some extra hassles and drama in the kitchen some days which makes me consider changing my menu up at times for a more simple meal.

Sir I was born and raised in Columbia, S.C. and I have never eaten a snake, possum, rat, cat or squirrel. In fact, I have never seen any of that prepared for consumption. Now I have eaten turtle and alligator - ironically enough in NC and New Orleans. To be transparent, I did eat pickled pig's feet. Would walk around with them like they were Popsicles. Always had a jar in the house.

Sir you are a different type of dude.

More power to you. I'm gonna stick with the chicken/beef/lite pork.

We need a rolling on the floor laughing emoji. I had something similar happen when I ate Venison (deer) at a friend’s family function. Yours is way more traumatic!

i love venison. i used to get 2-3 deer a year. got to be too much work, but i processed everything myself. i would make a bunch of jerky, do some shoulder roasts, and get a bunch of ground meat. we would sneak it into a lot of stuff. well...not really sneak it. we just wouldn't say anything about it. those who were used to eating it knew. those who weren't, didn't have a clue.

    • Not sure he is in the top ten but: His 9.99 RAS score, second among 1,512 tackles since 1987, isn't a gimmick. You see every bit of that explosiveness translate to the field when he kicks and slides in pass sets. NFLDraftBuzz
    • Ya win some, ya lose some. Legette looks to be a loss.  The time for disappointment has passed. I expect nothing, so if I get something I will be surprised.
    • I got called into HR one time, as they were doing their research after a verbal altercation that I had with another employee. He was the one that started the sh¡t and had the nerve to go to HR. Well, I did the meeting, & the manager gave me her card & said if there was anything else I wanted to say regarding the investigation, to contact her. I thought about it later that day, so I used our company email and told her that I was willing to take a lie detector test, and that if he and his two friends were willing to do the same, once it was determined that they were lying and that I was telling the truth, then they would have to be punished accordingly. Funny thing is, after that, I never heard from her again, or anything about the investigation. It's like it never happened.  Anyway, yeah 89 isn't doing himself any favors with this one. He wants to fight with a guy old enough to be his dad because of Rivera's lack of communication, even if there was some perceived hypocrisy going on. That's just not a good look.
