Nijman is starting and he was an absolute turnstile earlier this season. Mays, Zavala and BC have all been mostly competent in relief roles. Nijman was awful. He was one of the few complete bust free agents signings.

Nijman is starting in this game? Damn. It just got infinitely worse for the passing game. No running game and no blocking for the passing game. What could go wrong?

Oh boy. I must have missed this nugget of info somehow in all the talk of Hubbard going to IR.

That's uhhh not good lol

To me, they are probably tanking legally--and they want to see what they have...I am surprised nobody said Plummer in the answer to this question.  I want to see Cade Mays finish strong (He is ill right now).  I do not want to see XL play well--I want his problem to be stuff you fix in the offseason, not inconsistency.  I am not seeing Chuba to IR yet...

Dont know how current this is, but from Panther site:

  • Out: Smith Wade, Jewell
  • Doubtful:  Horn, Moton
  • Questionable: Lewis, Wonnum, Clowney, Legette, Robinson, Hubbard (??), Gill

The list of guys missing the game or questionable is wild. It definitely LOOKS like tanking, regardless of the intent.

Damn, one week late. Lol, so Panthers. It’s going to hurt if we had a chance at a top pick and maybe even the top pick.

NE plays a testing Buffalo next week, Giants play Philly next week and they’ll rest, Jax could beat Tennessee today and Oakland could beat the Saints today. A lot to happen, but had we lost out including AZ, we’d be pick 1 in the scenario above which isn’t really outlandish. Ugh, we could have gotten some nice picks from the Giants/Raiders/whoever to move to 1.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
