Pass rusher at the top of the draft...

Draft a solid center in the mid-rounds...

Prioritize building defense with roster moves...

Get a different defensive coordinator...

Steal somebody from the Bucs or the Cowboys to run college scouting...

Maybe get a kicker in the lower draft rounds...

I mean, I hear ya about the top of the draft, but we just have to go BPA. That may not be a pass rusher...

I haven't looked at where we pick but I'm assuming it's within the top ten.

I'd strongly prefer pass rusher there but it's possible we could get a decent free agent for that role, so... 😕

We're like 5 or something now. I'm just saying that Mason Graham and Tetairoa McMillan have to be in the discussion. Your wishlist is easily adoptable though.

2024 flew by. It seems like we were just discussing the draft. The FO may have shanked that one, but hope springs eternal.

currently we have the 6th pick, hopefully a pass rusher will be there.

All 9 picks should be Defense.... Morgan has to own the BS offensive picks last year that ain't producing....

I'm not a huge fan of Cole Spencer or Jared kirksey for that matter, but either Morgan or Tepper might be. I'd happily move on from one or both.

We still have Scot McCloughan's son on the scouting staff. I've been wishing for years that we could get daddy on board.

(conditional on keeping him sober of course) 😕

T-Mac and I don't even care about anything else, maybe ever, I've never wanted the Panthers to draft a player more than him.

Receiver, right?

I'm fine with a game breaking receiver if we can find pass rush via free agency.

Getting Derrick Brown back and hopefully keeping a healthy Jaycee Horn would help the defense a lot.

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
