I was ready to jump on Bryce about QBR & passer RTG, but...

People keep waiting on the hope that Bryce will turn into a franchise QB but the QBs with bright futures, not all of it but the ones that should have a bright career even with NFL sized hurtles, don't take 3 years to show something truly great. Stroud did it last year and Daniels is doing it this year as rookies. Young's best requires the other team to be having a terrible day and it's still meh that seems to amaze some desperate Panther fans.

Same with the HC and GM. Meh. Morgan would have been a cool success story but that doesn't look that much different than the last guy.

No, I actually don't love talking about you, and I actually thought you were a good poster at one time, but I've noticed the downturn in your discussion---real talk---I just haven't said anything until now. As for all the other bullsh¡t you're talking...

You're a terrible poster. I couldn't even get through the other thread for your insulting people and calling them out for their maturity. You're a terrible Huddler.

I didn't realize that saying that I understood someone on an emotional level was "talking down" to them. You didn't really address the  point or answer the question that I was making. Wow, pantherclaw. Talking about being emotional for no damned good reason. But you do you.

You see this? This you attacking me because I chose not to debate with you.

fug your stupid.

You're stupid. Are you drunk? On drugs? Life got you down? Just shut the fug up. You said that you weren't interested in debating me anymore and gave me your signature calling card of a disingenuous salutation. But yet, you keep on talking. I'm not interested in debating you any more than you're interested in debating anyone. I will respond to your continued stupidity though...at least until I'm tired of entertaining myself at your useless expense.

Someone already said it but every professional former ( and current ) QBs say he is balling. It is what it is, some people don't want to give him credit and some only are willing to give it if he goes above and beyond what should be resonably expected without much nuance other then yards and wins to their takes.

I think that you can give Bryce credit and still require that he play better. A lot of this is relative and perspective-based. Even "reasonable expectations" can be more subjective than objective. I just don't like not having a definitive answer in light of the investments on the offensive side of the ball. That speaks to organizational dysfunction in my mind. Bryce probably should have sat the entirety of last season, or at least the first half.

All that being said, as an aside, I think that you can give Bryce credit while also wanting someone else to start, or at the very least provide legitimate competition (which doesn't happen enough in the NFL).

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
