Article detailing Lebron's free agency choice

Two parties to blame:

1) Obviously LeBron James for having an hour long special telling his hometown fans to go screw themselves and also for wanting to join legends instead of beating them like all true legends (as MJ and Magic have said).

2) Serious blame lands on the Cavs owner, GM, James' entourage, and all the other people in Cleveland that spoiled him and let him have whatever he wants. They never made him grow up once he left high school, and they made him into a giant spoiled, only child, momma's boy. They are as much to blame.

I only feel sorry for the Cleveland fans that fell back in love with their team when it became relevant. They couldn't do anything more to keep James. In the end, this is why we shouldn't care to follow athletes in this day and time, there is hardly any loyalty. Stick with your TEAM and expect your stars to leave you.

Bill Simmons had a good mailbag on this. Some of the comments from Cleveland fans were hilarious.

My wife could sleep with my father and I wouldn't feel this betrayed.

You know how happy Carrie looked at the prom? And when the pig's blood was dumped on her you couldn't help but empathize? And when she went on her rampage you were actually kinda rooting for her? That's how I feel about the city of Cleveland right now.

City: Austin, Texas

What kind of odds would I have gotten a few months ago that Gilbert Arenas would no longer be the craziest Gilbert in the NBA before the next season began? I could have made a killing!

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
