For entertainment purposes, I was to see a Panther splash.

However, waiting is not a bad thing--and I am hoping not to see a huge deal today--but I think Morgan will grab his main guy (s) today.

I think after the Gantt and Jeremiah tweet yesterday, they set expectations really high. I’m with you, I’m fine waiting as well.

The Bears have spent the past week revamping their offensive line and they made another HUGE move on Monday with former Falcons center Drew Dalman agreeing to terms on a three-year, $42 million deal that includes $28 million in guaranteed money. Dalman was ranked as the seventh best available free agent on Prisco's top 100

Ben Johnson had one of the best offensive lines in the NFL when he was in Detroit and now, he's trying to build the same thing in Chicago. Here's a look at what the Bears have done over the past week:

March 4: Acquired Jonah Jackson in trade with Rams
March 5: Acquired Joe Thuney in trade with Chiefs
March 10: Added Drew Dalman in free agency

On paper, the Bears offensive line is already light years better than it was last year.

He said he was doing what we did last year after seeing our results.

Schefter reports that Rodgers is scheduled to meet with Pittsburgh.

Makes more sense than other teams he's been rumored to be linked to.  They have a decent roster that can make noise with solid QB play and lack a sure-fire QB1.

FOr those who think free agency is bad, The Eagles spent $275 m in free agency last year.  For the past 5 years, every team that spent the most in free agency won 3 or more games the following year.  Jacksonville, a few years ago, won 6 more games.  Not to say these stats are long-term improvement, but probably more like a cortisone shot.

New England head coach Mike Vrabel continues to add to his defense. The Patriots are signing Robert Spillane, per Ian Rapoport

Spillane spent the last two seasons with Las Vegas and played in every game. Last season, he finished with a career-high 158 tackles. Spillane had two sacks and two interceptions.

Huge fan base too--Rodgers love the attention.

What we really should want is for the Patriots to strike out at finding an LT.

If they’re able to sign a legit LT, it opens them up to draft BPA, but if they can’t, they’ll all but be forced to draft one there, which means one less player from our board will be drafted before we’re on the clock

I think that is a good deal for the Pats

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
