Was talking to DG yesterday. He made an interesting point that if Armanti continues to struggle and cannot seem to get the punt return job he may not make the active squad this season. My thinking is that no matter what he makes the squad based solely on the pride of the front office and what they spent to draft him.

What's up Zod I'm real new to this but its ok I'm getting better. That's why simply put (even though I like the kid and all his talents) he shoulda been drafted in the fourth round no trade. That just wasn't necessary to give up valuable picks in the future. But I'm defiantly not trying to stir that up its just the truth of the situation or we should've stuck wit the normal bpa....

No, he won't be practice squad, but they can find a reason to deactivate him for a season.

If Edwards can't return punts, he'll start limping around the facility on the coach's instructions and be placed on IR with a mystery hammy pull.

I think he will make the team..but wont see a lot of playing time because Moore will take his spot in the slot.

Shelton was a legitimate 2nd round pick though. If the Panthers hadn't drafted him, someone else would.

Edwards was a 4th/5th round pick that the Panthers traded next year's 2nd for.
