Disagree on Sutton. The fumble was bad but he looked awesome every play before that. He was great blocking, caught some passes and ran very well. I doubt fumbling will be a recurring issue with him. Sometimes on the goal line somebody gets their helmet on the ball and it pops free. Chalk it up to bad luck this time.

ESPN is just running with their stories.

But, I gotta tell you, in the first half, Clausen looked like the vet and Moore looked like the shell shocked rookie.

He just has that attitude (that I love and he was criticized for smh) and plays with that swagger just an added bonus to the talent he already has...I dont see that in Moore...

Like what I see from the DL and LBs. Not so much from the DBs. Munnerlyn has looked like crap so far. Offense has been pretty good; haven't done anything too bad except a few o-line mishaps. Overall they all look a little rusty but not bad. I feel good about them.

Munnerlyn isn't doing that bad considering they are asking him to be on the field the whole time right now.

Should have grabbed that special teams ace when he was available, but our lame duck GM fails to do so.

I honestly don't know how this team get's by with such an awful special teams.

That would have required the Panthers to spend money over the offseason. A big no no this year.

I've been highly impressed by Sutton, minus that fumble. I'm sure he'll drill himself for that one. Kenny Moore, I'll take the good with the bad... Matt Moore needs to work on his footwork and timing with his receivers; I've been more impressed by Jimmy Clausen. Jimmy has looked pretty good so far, but he should never throw back across his body, huge no-no in the NFL. But, this is why they have the preseason. I think Beason still needs more snaps to feel comfortable on the weak side. And Dan looked ok, but just ok. Our secondary sucks... Defensive line looks much improved, no more Nick Hayden, please?!?!?!

      I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).

      It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
