Packers score 59 points...

The packers scored 59 points last night and it would take two good games just to match that in 4 of our preseason games (we are at 15 thru 2).

I know we've never been a high scoring team and preseason doesn't mean anything but how much pressure do you think the offense is under to put up some points on sat? Remember, we have yet to score an offensive touchdown. Is it a big deal if we don't or is it that age old excuse of preseason unimportance?

I think the offense is on a little pressure to score some points this game. This will be the last game that the starters play in and while I'm sure that the team doesn't care about wins or losses in the preseason I think it is concerning that we can't score a single offensive touchdown

I don't have an answer to our scoring woes, but I'm pretty sure right now I'd trade our 1st string special teams unit for the guys GB had in with 5 minutes left of the 4th quarter. Knee-jerk reaction, yes. But damn our special teams look ugly.

I saw the game and it wasnt the Colts defense was that bad but rather Rogers and company were great. His accuracy was excellant and the WRs and TEs run great routes and got great seperation. They made our offense look like a midget league team.

    • That's where I am. He'd be great in a rotational role unburdened from having to start. Has to be something deeper for him being cut for essentially peanuts, or we're gonna go after depth/stop gap at another position.
    • Such weird thinking honestly. I’m a fan of the team. If it is better for the team that a player can be cut and the money that would have gone to them can make the team better being spent on a different player, that’s what I want. I’m not gonna shed any tears over millionaires losing some money being cut before their contract is up due to performance/injury and I don’t see how that gets you any social brownie points among the proletariat. Aren’t you just licking the millionaire athlete boot? These guys ain’t hurting.
    • Great move Dan Morgan......dudes feeling himself too much. "I feel like I played well" 5.5 sacks don't cut it IMO for a starting OLB/edge. Like most I would rather the hungry younger players get after it instead.
