Double Standards

There is a reverse as well; when some players start to look bad in the preseason they have always sucked and are going to ruin the team *cough* Moore *cough*.

Some people make excuses on their behalf, others criticize them at every turn. It evens out, either way.

He's talking about Matt Moore, and I agree. Jake's numbers were better than Moore's last year but everyone was talking about how terrible Jake was.

But now, if Moore is 4-11, for 23 yards, that's pretty solid. It's the receivers' fault, yeah, that's it.

Numbers mean absolutely nothing. You have to watch the game. No one is making excuses for Moore, they're simply observing the horrid play of the WRs.

He is obviously talking about Matt Moore and how we have to read another week of excuses from his fan base on why our offense looks terrible and why Clausen should not get to spend time with the 1's. It must get exhausting coming up with all these excuses week in and out.

Matt Moore definitely needs to step it up, and we all expected a faster start.

I am still concerned on offense, but will wait to pass judgement when Smitty, Stew, and Otah are back.

Am I confident now? No.

Do I think the sky is falling? No

But, he is still leaps and bounds beyond Clausen.

I'll go with this. Well said!
