CHARLOTTE, N.C. Chris Johnson didn’t have much to show for his night of work (10 yards on eight carries) but he didn’t leave Bank of America Stadium empty-handed.

On the field at the end of the game, Johnson swapped jerseys with Panthers receiver Steve Smith, a four-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro.

"He asked me for mine before the game," Johnson said. "He is a great receiver. I look up to Steve Smith, and love watching him play. He is one of those guys like Chad (Ochocinco) and Terrell Owens, he just likes to have fun. For him to ask me, that’s a great honor."

Apparently, the commenter of that blog does not.

I really could care less about CJ's social life and ego building moments. I want to read about real football stories when I come to this site. There has to be several more interesting FOOTBALL stories after the game last night. Tell us what happened to the O line. Tell us about Mariani's long return. Tell us why Smith played ahead of Simms. Do your jobs or go get a job with the inquirer or people mag. These sappy stories about swapping jerseys and two spoiled filthy rich players trading jerseys make me what to vomit.

Looks just like what you read on the CO.

    • He can’t.  Not by NFL standards.  More than enough evidence at this stage to make that determination.  For even a chance at one Bryce has to get perfect look and that’s not NFL football.  Bryce’s ball placement and accuracy are horrible downfield.  That applied at Bama.  Bama WRs just had room to adjust.  Bryce defenders just repeat this lie about his Bama deep ball.  NFL balls have to be well placed to dudes only NFL open.  Countless plays for years where dudes are NFL open downfield and Bryce just lets the DB have just as good as a shot at it or takes the WR out of bounds.  It’s not a debate.  Dudes flat out open this year on repeat.  He can’t make the throws.  So the talk about not having speed is auto debunked and a distraction.  Open is open and Bryce has gotten the looks
    • In 2021, Young only completed 10 passes of 20 yards or more, resulting in a 36.1% completion rate on such throws, according to AL.com. This was significantly less than other Alabama quarterbacks like Mac Jones in 2020 (29 completions, 58%) and Tua Tagovailoa in 2018 (24 completions, 57.1%).
    • False. During his best statistical season at Alabama, Bryce completed only 36.1% of passes longer than 20 yards. For comparison, his two predecessors Mac Jones and Tua had respectively completed 58% and 48.6% of throws longer than 20 yards.
