I think this team can get a wildcard. No one in the NFC looks scary. 9-7 or 10-6 is very possible with the schedule.

I've said 10-6 for a couple months now. The defense is top 10, could be top 5. Offense hasn't looked good this offseason but it's hard to imagine our Offense not being at least decent with Double Trouble and Smitty on the field.

Fox has never let us go 4-12, even under the worst circumstances. We will be better this year so 11-5 or 10-6 is a very strong possibility, with a few key injuries I could see us maybe being 7-9 but that would be worst case scenario. I just think it is comical that most of the media has jumped on the Panthers and saying that we will finish at the bottom of the league, mainly because of the loss of Peppers and a few DT's that couldn't stay on the field. Peppers was not motivated to play, he played when he wanted to and I will take the young guys we have now that play hard and want to prove themselves over a guy that couldn't get motivated to play. What I am trying to say is we won't finish at the bottom of the league, we will either make the playoffs or barely miss them.

Is this team with no major injuries not better then the 2007 team? When Jake went down we went through 3 QB's, Deshaun Foster was our #1 RB, and Drew Carter was our #2 receiver and they finished the season 7-9. I just think we kept the the right players on D and our offense will come around. No way are we at the bottom of the league and I can't wait to prove all the nay sayers wrong.
