Panthers 53 man roster (for now)

i think 90% of the huddle members heads will explode if Jarrett breaks out like Sidney Rice or Meachem(less of a breakout)..and of course SLJ will be at the top of all those huddle corpses with a trumpet declaring the reign of Jarrett to be upon us.

If that happens I will declare my whole sig and avatar to a apology for Jarrett for the rest of the season and the fallowing one.

all of those things can be done by hudson or mcclain.that last wr spot needs to be filled by a legit wr.

you aren't going to find a legit WR for that spot. 4th, 5th, 6th receiver...they will hardly ever see the field in any situation unless it's on special teams and on return coverage. how much do we actually use the receivers? crap, we'll hardly go much beyond the 2nd receiver. beyond that it will be TEs and RBs getting the targets.

we need as many people as possible helping in return coverage. WRs are just as good many times as DBs in doing that.

anyway, i seriously doubt that either mcclain or martin will be activated much on game day. there just isn't nearly enough spots to include them very often. when they are active, though, they need to be used somewhere. martin or anyone else beyond the first 2-3 WRs aren't going to be getting used much on offense.

depth positions we have at most positions need to be able to help in special teams.

Having to front load our D-line left us with vry little depth in the back. Hope for no injuries.
we always load the dline like that. always count on 8-10 roster spots going to that.

i don't see much difference in depth at DB this year from last.

Really what more could Ivy and Eric Moore have done to prove they deserved to stay? And wtf has Senn or Hayden done? Sucks cause I was optimistic about the season before today. Only thing I can hope for is we sign some better guys soon, but looks like they are going to stay put with what they have now.

They could've done well against 1st stringers...

haha f**kers... Told you Jarrett would make the team!

Now if Jarrett is the #2 I'll be really happy... (not because it's Jarrett but because so many were so sure he would be cut)

It's not going to happen but I wish it would just so everyone will feel like a bunch of idiots for hating on Jarrett. Some people need to differentiate between "hate" and "dislike." Some people ride Jarrett like that is all they have to do during the day.

If Jarrett has a season like Rice did last year I'll run out on the middle of the field during halftime of our last home game and do a backflip naked.

But you can't do a backflip...

I hope this is the case. Remember when Moose would drop balls pretty consistantly? He turned out alright. Maybe Dwayne can get it together...

Well Jarrett definitely has his shot now. If he doesn't show something this year, it will probably be his last with the team.

The only real surprise is Tyler. I thought he got some decent push when he was in.

There is no probably to it really; if Jarrett doesn't show anything he will be gone.

Precisely. Jarrett has been the #3 (supposedly) for the last 2 seasons and how much has he been on the field? If the guys on the roster can run the routes, make a block here and there and maybe catch a pass or 2, you can't ask for much more.

i do know that, but we could bring in a wr that could be our #2.not refering to housmazs but there are some decent wr out there. maybe not mcclain but hudson should be a hell of a gunner, along with marsh. depth is cool but i would rather have quality depth. im over that but hayden not getting cut speaks volumes.he sucks major ass.
