Bengals not giving Clausen much thought

It doesn't matter how good their team is, if they treat this game like a gimme they are only hurting themselves. From the looks of it(whether it be Chad Ocho basically laughing at our secondary, or this) they are, which is nothing but good for us.

I seem to remember last season Panthers playing at Arizona as an underdog and beating one of the best offenses of the season with a quarterback that wouldn't scare a college defense.

Panthers at the moment honestly don't deserve much respect, but I'm glad Bengals seem to be treating this like a win already.

i hope they aren't planning for him and that it bites them in their big orange butt.

i'm not counting on it but a guy can hope.

i'm more interested in seeing how he grows and how the other players around him do with him under center than anything. i'm not even worried about the score or who gets the W or L at the end. i've moved on and am looking for whatever positives i can find. what choice do i have if i don't want to be pissed off? life is far too short to get an ulcer over a stupid game. if you can't handle it, do something else with your time that won't make you want to smash your car into your grandmother.

No pass protection...no Jimmy Clausen. Might as well put Weinke back there. How can you really tell the value of any QB if we can't block for 2 seconds.

our offensive line has been abused by the blitz. Moore showed he couldn't make quick decisions in preseason to overcome the blitz, teams took notice and followed suit.

I think the offense as a whole deserves a pardon until after this week when we at the very least have a qb that can diagnose the d before the snap.

I think the best game plan for the Panthers this Sunday would be to run a two-tight end formation with two backs and Smith out wide the entire game. Sounds foolish?

The magic 3-TE set wouldn't be exactly what I'm talking about but very similar. Having both Williams/Stewart in the backfield with Goodson creates both misdirection and mismatches. Not to mention the misdirection and mismatches the two TE would create.

The Panthers biggest weakness right now on offense is the o-line and the WR position. This would help with both of those.

Davidson will run the same offense out of the same formations they have done the past 3 seasons. Each game they add one new formation they mix in for that specific game in rare moments.
