Save Your Money

Don't go to the games, don't buy merchandise, don't put a penny towards this franchise until JR shows he's willing to meet us halfway. This poo is disgraceful. This isn't just a post/thread borne from yet another game we were beat soundly and easily in, this is the accumulation of frustration with JR's acceptance of mediocrity.

Save your money. If you already have tickets, either don't go, or sell them. JR knew exactly what he was doing. This isn't just about rebuilding, it was him trying to make a statement while the other owners laughed behind his back and kept making their teams better.

Hey JR, Anquan Boldin caught 2 TDs in the first half today. I'm sure it was easier for him to get open with Houshmanzadeh working the field as well. Not only did this dumb motherfuger refuse to spend money to add talent, he just flat out refused to get better. Again, how do you explain not franchising Peppers again long enough to receive draft picks from willing teams? Nope, we just rented him for 16 Mil last year and then let him walk b/c JR decided he wasn't spending money this year.

Well, being that he's worried about his company and HIS bottom line in this economy... I think it's time we worry about ours.

I love this team and I always will, but I won't stand for this anymore. He's not going to give a poo unless our actions make a difference to him at the end of the day. There's no other way to make him "feel" our actions other than hitting him where it matters - his pockets. Don't go. Don't waste your time. Let him enjoy this mediocre team like we typically do... A lot lighter in the pockets.

Flame on, I don't give a fug.

I think I'll buy out the Panther shop. Ordering some jerseys and hats right now

quit being the "other side" of the argument just for the sake of it DP... there is no other side in this argument. We're all stuck floating up poo's creek with no motor or paddles on the U.S.S. Panther. And I'm sure you have plenty of money to spend in the Panthers store with all that money you have as a college student... I know, I am one.

    • Just to clarify: I'm not arguing that height or footwork can’t affect QB play. I'm asking how those concerns translate into measurable, consistent outcomes. That’s the standard we should be applying to all QBs, not just Bryce. If height is such a limitation, then we'd expect to see elevated batted passes or poor pressure evasion. Yet none of that shows up in the data. Bryce was one of the lowest in the league for batted passes and his 16.9 pressure-to-sack ratio is good enough for 9th out of all QBs with 300+ dropbacks. So if you believe footwork tied to height is a meaningful issue, what metric shows that because two that would aren't doing so? This isn't about denying flaws. It's about applying fair, consistent standards because otherwise we’re not evaluating performance which means that it's not analysis taking place... it's just going off of the vibes that somebody has consciously decided on. Citing one red zone play you remember doesn't provide that consistent standard. I don't say that to dismiss your memory, but to emphasize that anecdotal evidence (especially from an avowed skeptic) shouldn’t carry more weight than consistent tape or analytics. For example, there was recently dissonance over Bryce's deep ball accuracy where it was implied that he was inaccurate throwing 20+ yards. Yet, the data and film show otherwise. And I unfortunately have to still ask since you won't directly answer: What specific metrics do you believe matter when evaluating whether a QB is top-10? You've mentioned YPA and passing yards per game, and that's fair. If that's what you're prioritizing, then let's call that your criteria but clarity matters because it prevents moving goalposts when the data doesn’t match one's expectations. I appreciate the response and hope that your holiday weekend goes well also. ❤️
    • Me too. I got other things I can do. Tie it up 2-2 and I will be back, but Im tired of watching us get swept.
