I think if Carolina loses to a (possibly) winless San Francisco team, out of the bye week, he's gone. At 0-6 with no hope in sight, the time has come. Season is over and might as well throw out the garbage.

JR isn't going to fire Fox. He's just not going to renew his contract this season.

He did wait until the offseason to fire Seifert, despite the 1-15 season. Keep in mind he didn't handicap Seifert that year in the way he's handicapped Fox this year.

In 2004, the 1-7 Carolina Panthers faced the 49ers and turned around their season. I think this is the breaking point for the year. A loss means Panthers are picking #1. A win could mean a run at .500 but I wouldn't hold my breath for the latter.

Good lord, why would JR fire Fox when he owes him 6 mil regardless and no one knows if there is going to be a season next year? The only possible way I see it happening is if JR knows a CBA is imminent and is ready to move forward with his plan for next year.

0 losses and we now have 5, I didn't think he was coming back no matter what happened this season. I still feel that way. He wants way more money then JR is willing to pay him and other teams are going to pay him what he wants...

I would expect him to be the NYG head coach if Coughlin retires.. If not, maybe somewhere like San Fransico or Clevland.
