"if you aren't a PSL owner, your opinion doesn't matter"

nice.

if you don't like being a PSL owner, then sell them off. iuf you don't like the risk of every once in a while having a poor team fielded or the prospect of having a losing season every once in a while then you shouldn't have bought them in the first place. i'm sure you wouldn't have a hard time selling them. just do yourself a favor (and all of us who have to hear your whining) and be rid of them. if you hate the owner so much and don't like what he's doing with the franchise, then why in the world would you want to hold on to such a God forsaken piece of property such as that?

there's only one reason that you are in the mess that you are in if you aren't happy about being a PSL owner and that was because you put yourself there.

I know you don't want to hear it but seriously your opinion is weighed with nothing behind it. Have you paid one dime to see a game? So they suck what do you care. You didn't pay 52 dollars a tickets to see a crappy product but I did. So yeah I don't think your willingness to discount the season for the season means crap.

I get that spending $$ on this team makes it that much worse.

But for Chrissake man, get off your high horse and stop minimizing other peoples passion for this team.

just because u might not be able to afford PSL's or live too far to own some doesn't mean u are less of a fan and can't complain. That's a little bitch thing to say.

I am not saying that PSl owners are better or worse or bigger fans or not. If that is what it sounds like then that is not what I meant. But I really get tired of folks who are fine with throwing away the season for what might happen in a year or two when they haven paid money for tickets which are declining in value for a product that sucks.

I am not whining about spending the money because I did of my own free will. I for one want to win every game and that is why I want Moore over Clausen. I don't care about 2012 right now, only 2010.

I don't have a problem with people complaining but it is the ones who rationaize Richardson's cheap ass moves or say don't worry because it will better in a few years. I want better now, that's all.

If people are passionate then they wouldn't be fine with losing. It is the ones trying to tell us that it is fine to suck this year if we are fine in 2 or 3 years from now that I dislike.

I am pissed and have 1500 reasons to be.

I completely agree.

Just because you don't own a PSL doesn't mean you don't contribute to the Panthers as an organization. I buy merchandise, watch their advertisements, goto almost every single Training Camp practice (because I live so much closer to Spartanburg than I do Charlotte), and I follow the Panthers religiously.

Does that make me less of fan than someone who owns a PSL? Or, does it mean that I'm a poor college student that can't afford to break out my wallet, make the drive to Charlotte eight times a year, and own a PSL?

Where in my post did I say you weren't a fan. Where did I say that PSl owners are better than anyone else? You guys are the ones putting words in my mouth. What I said is that for folks talking about it being a good move to tank this season in hopes of things getting better in a few years, that if they didn't have a dime in it or haven't bought tickets this year, then I don't care what they think.

Doesn't mean you can't be a fan or rabid about the team just that I am sick and tired of folks fine with throwing away the season when they don't have a stake in it.

Anyone who has a stake monetarily or emotionally should be pissed as hell not making excuses for the cheap bastard.

i have spent money, not that it is any of your concern or not.

again, if you don't like it, unload it. no one is making you keep it. if you keep hanging onto it and don't like the return you are getting on it, then it makes no sense to keep it.

since you don't value my opinion, i welcome you to block my posts and those of anyone else who do not own PSLs.

in fact, lets get a separate forum for those "real fans" who have PSLs so you don't have to listen to thoughts from those of us who don't matter.

what an elitist prick.

I think that nobody has the patience or energy to continuously be pissed like the team has given us reasons to be since 2006.

p55 is only feeling that right now because until this year he was all about "HEY CMON GUYSZ THE TEAM IS GREAT WHATRE U TALKING ABOUT???"

Yeah because we've been starting 0-5 since 06.

I'm not happy with what's going on this year, but I have no doubt JR will return to form when this CBA thing is resolved. JR has never been cheap until this year, with the threat of a lockout looming large.

Guess what folks, I don't think JR likes being 0-5 either but he's looking at the big picture and he's positioning this team to emerge from the new CBA in a very strong position. We clearing cap space so we can re-sign our core, taking stock of our young players and "neutralizing" our roster so our new coaching staff can shape the team to their specifications. Look at the difference a year has made in Tampa.

We're just gonna need to suck it up this year and keep our eyes on the prize.
