Ok entertain me, what do you guys have to talk about. We're 0-5 with a lame duck coach, no free agent acquisitions, and you think you can come up with something better to talk about. fine ill leave the fugin forum, you guys act like there is something going on here other than a 2010 lockout before the 2011 one has even happened. I don't know if you noticed but other than a lack of coaching or caring from the already rich Fox who's been dealt a shitty hand and Jerry Richardon's morals costing us vet's this season there isn't anything else to talk about other than imagining post-lockout football.

I have no doubt we will be back to prominence after the lockout , but to think that no one can have conversation about anything here without 20 fags with no life trolling threads is ridiculous at this point. So go troll "Carolina Panthers in a spread offense", "College of the Canyons", "Remember that Old Dom Capers Commercial", or "So?", I'm out bitches.

Makes no f**king sense to bring in bullger. He can't do crap with more offensive talent than we have...but stick him in there, he'll take us to the mother f**king promise land.

I hope I hurt your feelings with this statement, cause it hurts me to tink so many panther fans are this f**king ignorant.

If you want to leave this board cause of how people respond to this poo...then leave. And take all the other ignorant ones with you. Cause it gets fuging old reading about pipe dreams, and what ifs. If I wanted that, i'd sleep, and dream of much better what ifs, than mr buldger.

rofl, 0/10 trolling attempt.

Bulger sucks, no doubt about it, but he is a vet and he would have been a Jimmy Clausen scarring buffer.

The Panthers made a conscious decision to get younger and prepare for a possible lockout.

You have a QB in Matt Moore who looked good last year, but has very limited experience. You have another rookie QB that you were high on. There is a real possibility of a lockout next season.

So, you think we should keep both young QB's on the bench and start a aged veteran. OK, I will play this game.

DUMB IDEA!!!!!

If you broguht in and played a QB like Bulger, you are looking at having Moore and Clausen sit for another two seasons. So, you have Moore here for 4 years and Clausen here for 2 with absolutely no game experience and you have no idea as to whether they are legitimate starting QB's in this league.

We made a decision to go young and evaluate young players this season.....that includes the QB.

Why are we so sure about this again?

it would have made sense to bring in Bulger. Would have made sense to bring in a vet even if they had no intention of giving him a shot to see the field.

Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford, Sanchez, etc.......they have vets on the roster to guide them. Matt Moore needed a vet.....Jimmy Clausen needed a vet. We gave them nothing. We gave our QBs reject Browns coaches....nothing else.

AJ feely?

Bradford has AJ Feely...is that why Moore was good last year?

Feely is a 10 year vet. He has been in a lot of lockerrooms, he has seen a lot of football, he has watched a lot of film.

I think it is a safe wager that Feely is helping Bradford to a degree, Jake will help Colt, Brunell will help Sanchez.......just b/c those vets can't get it done on the field doesn't mean they don't offer something. I think Jake helped Moore in prior seasons.

THE ONLY people Moore/Jimmy has is Fox and two reject Brown coaches who suck at there jobs. See the last QBs they worked w/.

    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
