this board is not worth reading anymore. havent you noticed that from all these quality threads? I havent missed a game yet and I live in nyc now so I have to make an effort to watch. i wouldnt quite label people who decide not to waste their time here as banwagon fans. the panthers sucking is hard enough, reading a bunch of ignorant threads and ideas is only more frustrating.

It used to be Zod, Kurb, Nance, Sax, FB77, (liver)Mush, and others posting in here. The Football IQ was extremely high. Hell, even most of the Falcon Trolls were annoyingly up on their football.

Add Skyy, Dimbee, MB, Cooter, Skew and the lot in the other forums as well as us bringing on other teamers like Epi, Hawk and CBDevil throughout and it was awesome.

We got too big and the loudmouths took over. Used to be Kurb and I were some of the most obnoxious posters on here. Now we're usually throwing water on little flame wars.

oh btw i think the real problem is that the team isn't winning, and all the people on here are miserable because the coach that they thought was still an ace, the QB they thought was gonna play at a high level into his late 30s, and the front four they thought wasn't going to be depleted, never quite worked out in the long run, and they know this forum is now dominated by people who keep discussing change they didn't want to see happen, instead of being dominated by people who've got nothing but nice things to say about the personnel we've got, which was fine for when they were overall doing a bang-up job, but not since we've become a joke in the league.

i'm not saying it's true, that's just what i'm speculating.

I used to like discussing football when the team had some good things going and positive discussion was for the most part dominant. Now when I visit the forum, everybody's into anticipating the start of a new era and waiting for all the old dogs to turn in their time card and leave the organization, and it upsets me because i obviously still have a soft spot for these players (see my username) and coaches because of all the good times and i'm getting a sense of nostalgia like all people do when something we thought was special is long gone and all i feel like doing is complaining about the current state of something, which in this case is the content of the forum, because i'm disgruntled about the state of the franchise and have little or no logic to back me up when i want to defend them, which is what i want to do.

Even if you're not thinking this way, somebody else probably is.

how to fix the huddle

1.stop personal attacks..mods need to treat this as serious as Goodell does helmet to helnet hits

2.if someone post what you deem as a dumb thread,dont put your 2 cents in and bump it..just ignore it

3.reset rep and only allow rep to be given in the football forums

4.have an exciting offseason and no lockout.

i'm sure there's other things we can do but that would be a good start
