So everyone wants Luck, but can anyone shed some light on options for our 2nd pick (3rd round). Don't watch much college, but I know we need to go Oline, DT, or DB; so who?

BPA. whoever we get is going to most likely be depth so it doesn't really matter. i'd be more hoping for DB since we can get OG and DT addressed via FA much better than at any point in the draft.

beyond the 3rd round i wouldn't mind trading picks for vets.

I want to aim for a lopsided trade. We trade down to some team desperate for Luck and make like bandits. I am talking a 2nd, a 3rd, a future 2nd, a DT and a vet QB. Add the Peppers compensatory pick and maybe a trade of Smith and DeAngelo and we could have 6 picks in the first three rounds.

We have average players, which is what you suggest. We need a stud leader. BTW, the first pick is worth swapping firsts, a second, and a first next year to move down 6 places.

A star QB makes average look good.

2011 Nfl Draft Wish List:

Andrew Luck

DT/G/CB

Anyone care to give me some names of quality DTs, Guards, and Corners that could be available in the middle rounds? Haven't been watching too many college football games, just the big ones. Hurney has found some gems here and there in the later rounds and without a second, he's going to have to be spot on because we are hurting in those positions with an off-season such as this looming.

Connor, Munnerlyn, Hardy, Anderson, Johnson are all going to be central to success in the future hopefully. I'd love to throw a couple more draft steals in there with a DT, G, and CB from this draft.

Go Panthers!
