I call BS that Dwill won't bring anything in trade. I also call BS that he is not replaceable. Running backs are plug and play type of players. We found Goodson in the later rounds whose to say we can't find another diamond in the rough. Trade him use the pick to add to our trenches. We can do better than a 4th for him. Lynches ghetto thug was worth a 4th. Dwill is an asset to a team and a city. Lynch gets kicked out of clubs for bringing his own liquor and stealing money from people at TGIF. Dwill is worth a 3rd easy.

DWill is a special talent and has proven it on the field. One would assume the Panthers will continue to be a run first team in the near future. I hope we sign DWill and maybe even get a little home team discount. Getting our new Head Coach in position immediately after the season ends can only help. Come on Panthers, lock up a coaching staff and start getting the talent we currently have on the roster and want to keep under contract so we can fill in the rest of the holes thru the draft and FA.

Think of all the big plays DeAngelo has made happen because of his vision and cutback ability. It is true that it isn't hard to find a good running back, but IMO DeAngelo is more than good, hes great. Not every "plug in" player can make those plays that he has made happen.

I as well believe Deangelo is a great player and that we should resign him, well I mean tag him so we can trade him. Deangelo I believe is one of the most talented backs Carolina has had but he is also at the downward part of his career. If were going to get rid of Smitty cash in for our past mistakes (AE) and get some more picks in this draft. Theres alot of places we need to address.

people are still living the second half of the 2008 season.

like i've said in the past, the front office will try to resign williams...but they're not going to break a sweat to try and get him to stay.

wether or not he's here after this season is all up to him.

there are too many positions that need attention, like the offensive line. invest in that and the rb position becomes plug and play. multiple top 10 rbs will become unnecessary. you can sign several inexpensive decent running backs to the roster for depth at the position and still have an effective rushing attack.

We all love D-Will who is a fantastic guy.. But lets be real here..

We are a 1-12 team. We hav A LOT of holes to fill so there is no need to have three starter material RBs on the team. D-Will is the oldest and by far the most expensive of the three.

Tag ( if you can in the new CBA ) and trade. Go with Stewart, Goodson and Sutton and use the money on other positions, we sure could need it.
