see Kerry Collins and his departure for being a mere Drunk rather than a thief among other issues in question. And the Panthers problems in this area in general historically.

All irrelevant, because as an NFL QB talent his not top 10 rated which is where the Panthers are picking.. Of theirs examples like Jamarcus Russell, and there are teams that like blowing tons of money on questionable character, flashy college QB's out there.

Panthers are the Panthers. They're gonna reach for a QB because the best one available doesnt fit the image they want, in the end setting their franchise back a few years. Im confident Newton will be the better player regardless of where he's drafted. Im not confident Luck can handle the hype and pressure fans like yourself are gonna put on him if he comes here. Do you really believe he can live up to being better than Cam Newton? Because thats what you will put on him. He cant even do that now with all the hype in his corner. LOL. How is he gonna do that behind our OL in a division with better QBs in Ryan and Freeman? Luck is gonna end up being a slightly better Clausen for us.

Steve Smith is by far the most marketed player on the team and most popular. His jersey has sold more than any Panther in history. Steve Smith is more important to our team than both Matt Moore & Jimmy Clausen and is more recognizable. How do you feel about Jerry Richardson basing his business off a fiery guy like Steve Smith who's beat up his teammates before? Keep in mind, JR has fired his own sons, quit his pro career over a contract dispute (money), and tanked an entire season over the CBA (money). He's not above doing low character things himself.
