It's not stupid to want Bowers over Luck, it is stupid to want to take Bowers at #1 without trading down. Luck would be worth a king's ransom.

And mock drafts are fun to read but most of the people that make those are extremely out of touch.

It is not that you are stupid, but a QB makes us good right away. Our DEs are not bad--we need push up the middle to keep the QB from stepping up.

DE + DE + DE = QB

Give me 25 TD passes over 10 sacks. I am just saying. NOBODY wins in the NFL without a good QB. We don't have one. It takes a DE about 2 years to mature and learn the secrets of the position. That is why Johnson struggled. THat is why Brown and Hardy struggle. They are maturing and we don't need another young DE when we have bigger needs at DT, CB, OL, and QB
