To get Luck's full potential, Carolina must hire Harbaugh

Andrew Luck has the potential to be better than Brady within a year or two. As we saw in the orange bowl, not only was he wearing a pro style wrist band on his arm full of plays, but his center was carrying another long list of plays himself. This says to me that Luck orchestrate better than Manning. Yet, who's plays were he orchestrating? HARBAUGH'S!!!!!!!

If we hire Russ Grimm, he will want to run the ball as much as possible. Imagine it now, 10 secs left in the ball game and down by 4 points, we're on the opposing team's 40 yard line and it's 3rd and 20. Luck calls a timeout and goes over to discuss with Grimm what they should do.

Luck: Alright coach what's the call.

Grimm: Hmmmm, let's surprise them with a run straight up the gut!

Luck: Coach we're out of timeouts and need to get into the endzone.

Grimm: Trust me, they will be caught completely off guard.

Luck then begrudgingly puts back on his helmet and starts toward the huddle, but suddenly Grimm catches his arm.

Grimm: Wait! Let's mix it up a bit. Instead of handing the ball off to Williams, give it to Fiammetta. Ha, am I a genius or what!

Luck thinks to himself: (Why didn't I stay in school)

Come on Richardson, wake up and smell the superbowl rings. Payton Manning worked with genius coaching to help develop his skills. If you don't give Luck someone that will challenge him, he will be like Albert Einstein making d's in elementary school. The same could be said vice versa if we did bring in Harbaugh, yet either keep Clausen as starter or got another QB. These two are meant for each other.

ESPN declared this to be the year of the QB. We currently have the worst starting QB in the NFL and subsequently, own the worst record in the NFL. A phenom of a QB is possibly coming out in the year of the QB, along with a phenom of a QB coach who is a head coach. This is too easy a decision to make. Get it done.

Your argument is flawed and invalid, as is your grammar and spelling.

I think Luck and Harbaugh need to go their separate ways. Both to the NFL, mind you, but Luck needs to become a man by himself, not stick around with his college coach. Harbaugh can go to Denver, Luck can come here.

It's either Harbaugh or Grimm.

Honestly I read the title and skipped virtually the entire post.

To believe that the only man capable of bringing out the full potential in Andrew Luck over the span of an entire NFL career is simply retarded.

Is it the best immediate scenario? yes. Is the theory put forth by this post correct? In no way, shape, or form.

I think the biggest advantage to getting both Harbaugh and Luck together is the learning curve.

Harbaugh brings a very complicated pro style offense (over 315 plays in the game plan). Luck knows this systems backwards and forwards. The transition to an NFL QB for Luck would be greatly enhanced by walking in already knowing the offense.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
