Locker

While watching his bowl game last week, all through the game I couldn't help but think that is who we will draft. Just a feeling.

he is as tall as Clausen, but way better in every other area...

but he's got like no chance of going #1 I don't think.

I think we have to go with Locker here. You can say what you want to about the guy but i almost feel like he is the poor mans Luck. I don't know if it is even possible to trade down but if they can find a way I would love to see us trade down and snag him and go defensive tackle in the second round pick(acquired from trading down)

I wouldn't be shocked if we took Locker.

He seems like a Hurney guy.

And by a Hurney guy, I mean he'll suck horribly but Hurney will still be ecstatic we got him.

I personally think Locker could possibly fall as far as the 3rd or 4th round..

Well..not with us in the way...

There will be GM ego involved in the 2011 NFL draft.

Hurney had to go Luck, he was the no brainer consensus #1.

Now that Luck is gone, Hurney will show everyone what a great pick Clausen was.

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
