Tyler Brayton

Andre Neblett

Jordan Senn

C.J. Wilson

R.J. Stanford

I think the roster/depth chart looks something like:

FA=Free agent

DP=Draft pick

QB: Jimmy Clausen, FA Veteran, FA/Late Pick

RB: Jonathan Stewart, Mike Goodson, Tyrell Sutton

FB: Tony Fiammetta

WR: A.J. Green, David Gettis, Brandon LaFell, Armanti Edwards, FA/Late Pick

TE: Dante Rosario, Gary Barnidge, DP

LT: Jordan Gross, FA/DP

LG: Travelle Wharton, Geoff Schwartz

OC: Ryan Kalil, FA

RG: FA, FA (same as backup center)

RT: Jeff Otah, Solid Veteran FA

LE: Charles Johnson, Everette Brown

DT: All FA's & DP's

RE: Greg Hardy, FA/DP

SLB: James Anderson, Eric Norwood

MLB: Jon Beason, Dan Connor

WLB: Thomas Davis, FA/DP

CB: Chris Gamble, Captain Munnerlyn, DP, Robert McClain

FS: Sherrod Martin, Jordan Pugh

SS: Charles Godfrey, FA/DP

K: John Kasay

P: Jason Baker

KR: Mike Goodson

PR: DP/FA

LS: J.J. Jansen

This is actually pretty good... I would have to agree with about 99% of it... I just can't see DWill walking but he probably will blow it up some where else, maybe I just don't want to see him go... Otherwise very nice!

Have to say anyone betting the house that Otah will be an every down RT is probably dreaming...he hasn't done it so far and past predicts future.

The tackle position and the RG positon need to be fixed, regardless of who the coach is and Gross isn't getting any younger.

TE. It is time, past time, for the offense to find a threat at TE and that threat is not consistently on the roster. DR perhaps but, the Panthers should try and upgrade there. It can be done. John Fox just didn't bother to consider TEs....not in the offense and not covering them on defense...awful, just awful.

Defensively, CB and DT.

DT position discussed ad nauseum. Of 32 teams, our DTs are probably 30-32 in rank.

CB is also obvious. Marshall gone. Gamble, and I guarantee you there is more going on with him than just attitude, is no lock froma performance perspective and as much as I like Captain, he's a good nickle and nothing more. In the passing league the NFL has become, a big time corner is needed.

Garry Williams We need to upgrade, but in fairness, he was moved to RT from the left side

Mackenzie Bernadeau Is he the only backup center? I am concerned that we won't be able to re-sign Kalil, especially after the pro bowl

Tyler Brayton (under contract, moves inside to DT on passing downs, leader)

Andre Neblett Showed promise-I have him as our 4th DT next year, in a competition with Hayden for it

Jordan Senn (Depends on the coach, but I LOVE this player. ST demon)

C.J. Wilson Hope not

R.J. Stanford (Good athlete who underachieves-cut)I think the roster/depth chart looks something like:

FA=Free agent

DP=Draft pick

QB: Jimmy Clausen, FA Veteran, FA/Late Pick (I would put "F/A Veteran first, then Clausen; I am guessing the Late pick could be someone like TJ Yates or Stanzi)

RB: Jonathan Stewart, Mike Goodson, Tyrell Sutton (DW will be tagged, but will he be traded?)

FB: Tony Fiammetta (I have been thinking about that kid from Stanford who plays both ways--is he good enough to play special teams and back up Beason and Fiametta? If so, Connor would be great trade bait)

WR: A.J. Green, David Gettis, Brandon LaFell, Armanti Edwards FA/Late Pick (No Smith!!--we are very young here (but explosive). I keep Smith because he has no trade value, unless he wants out)

TE: Dante Rosario, Gary Barnidge, DP King was a decent but improving blocker, but I am open to a new face

LT: Jordan Gross, FA/DP We need a LOT who can play RT in a pinch. I hated moving Wharton to cover LT when Gross went down because it created 2 weak spots.

LG: Travelle Wharton, Geoff Schwartz Move Dude back to the right, get a backup C/G hybrid

OC: Ryan Kalil, FA (Pretty good draft for centers, I read)

RG: FA, FA (same as backup center) I think Schwartz improved since being moved from RT to RG midseason and he will compete for the starting spot at RG. I do not see him playing LG.

RT: Jeff Otah, Solid Veteran FA

LE: Charles Johnson, Everette Brown

DT: All FA's & DP's Landri and Neblett or Hayden remain

RE: Greg Hardy, FA/DP Brayton is under contract for another year or so

SLB: James Anderson, Eric Norwood I think Jason Williams looked good and deserves a reserve role; would not be surprised to Anderson want a big payday and not get one. Some good options in the draft here--2 from UNC (Bruce Carter in the third; Quan Sturdivant in the 4th

MLB: Jon Beason, Dan Connor My thinking is we are going to need to make a few trades. Connor has starting experience and a good rep. Value sitting on the pine?

WLB: Thomas Davis, FA/DP

CB: Chris Gamble, Captain Munnerlyn, DP, Robert McClain

FS: Sherrod Martin, Jordan Pugh

SS: Charles Godfrey, FA/DP Hudson was pretty decent at S and a good Special teamer--Unless we change a lot, Pugh should be able to backup both sides--and unless he is moved to take the CB vacancy. He played CB in college, and S would be easier to find.

K: John Kasay No kickoff specialist?

P: Jason Baker

KR: Mike Goodson

PR: DP/FA

LS: J.J. Jansen

I liked this for the most part. Differences/comments in red.

Let's see, where to start...

1) Clausen, Lafell, Edwards = Not going anywhere.

2) G Williams? Garry plays offense; Thomas, Jamar and Jason play D

3) Everette Brown... see #1

4) Sean Penn??? didn't know JR was in the movie business, although if that was the case I think he would make the team.

QUADRUPLE FAIL!

Get some sleep buddy...

Drunk Thread Starter was drunk. Sean Penn would be a bad ass DT. :D
